    Marko Arnautovic (56 mins)

    When it rains it pours.

Stoke double their advantage, but Aston Villa will be kicking themselves after some shocking defending. Xherdan Shaqiri swinging in the cross, Marko Arnautovic's header is straight up in the air at the far post but as Villa defenders stand about ball watching, Arnautovic chests in as it comes back down.

    Southampton 1-0 Chelsea

I wonder if John Obi Mikel has been banging in a few goals during the training 6-a-side games? The Chelsea defensive midfielder has certainly been channelling his inner striker recently. Following his rare strike at Paris St-Germain, he's clearly got a taste for scoring and here he pops up again in the Saints box. After a bit of pinball in the area, he pounces quickly - only to head over the home goal.

    Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

No chances in the early stages of this half, but Bournemouth have perhaps started the better side, going close when Matt Ritchie's cross is sent just over by Joshua King.

    Leicester 0-0 Norwich

Right then, here's an early chance for Leicester.

Foxes dangerman Riyad Mahrez is left eating turf after being hacked down by Steven Naismith. The Norwich midfielder sees a yellow card wafted in his face, but that might not be his only problem.

Leicester have a free-kick in a dangerous spot about 25 yards out, slightly right of a central position. But Marc Albrighton's teasing delivery evades everyone and the visitors survive.

Confident stuff from Marko Arnautovic as he smashes the penalty straight down the middle.

    Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa

Stoke have the first attack of the second half as Xherdan Shaqiri pings a cross into the area, but Jores Okore's thumping header gets rid of the danger.

There were no changes for either side at the break. Well, unless you count Mark Hughes popping his coat on. Bit chilly at the Britannia now.

    League One round-up

The biggest surprise of the day in League One so far is at Priestfield, where Chesterfield - a point above the relegation zone at the start of play - are 2-0 up at third-placed Gillingham. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, once of Manchester United and Wolves, has scored, along with Lee Novak.

With leaders Burton being held 0-0 at home by Walsall, in fourth, Wigan are on course to move to within two points of top spot. Gary Caldwell's side have scored three goals in the first 21 minutes to lead Bury 3-0, with Will Grigg getting two of them.

Millwall, in fifth, are drawing 1-1 at Doncaster, having gone in front through Steve Morison before Richard Chaplow's equaliser for Rovers. Chaplow had a couple of years at Millwall, but he won't be too popular with their fans right now.

“It’s about what Norwich do differently this second half. The stats say 60 per cent possession for Leicester in the first.

"They are getting some space out wide. Riyad Mahrez is coming onto the ball and producing crosses, so I think they need to concentrate on getting into wide areas.”

You couldn't really tell who were the Premier League leaders and who were scrapping for their lives at the bottom in that uninspiring first half. Will that change?

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Southampton 1-0 Chelsea

Indeed Kenedy is introduced for Chelsea. The fall guy? Baba Rahman. That's presumably punishment for the left-back tossing away possession for Shane Long's goal.

Kenedy, usually a winger or attacking midfielder, slots in at full-back.

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    We're back under way.

  14. Ch-ch-ch-changespublished at 16:00

    Southampton 1-0 Chelsea

Well, a change. Young Chelsea winger Kenedy has ripped off his tracky, and is being put through some vigorous warm-ups. Who is going to be hooked?

    Championship round-up

Jose Mourinho is at Craven Cottage watching his former Real Madrid assistant boss Aitor Karanka have a good day with Middlesbrough so far. They're in control at Fulham, leading 2-0 at the break. As things stand, Karanka's team will move from third to second, above Burnley, who are being held 0-0 at Bolton.

That's the main action at the top of the table, with leaders Hull drawing 0-0 with Sheffield Wednesday last night, Derby losing 2-1 at Wolves in the lunchtime kick-off and Brighton playing Leeds on Monday.

At the bottom, Charlton are sinking fast, trailing 3-1 at home to Reading, for whom their former striker Yann Kermorgant has scored twice. Rotherham are being held 1-1 at home by Brentford, for whom Alan Judge cancelled out Matt Derbyshire's opener with a penalty rebound.

Elsewhere, there are half-time leads for Cardiff, MK Dons, Ipswich and QPR.

    League Two round-up

AFC Wimbledon - going from promotion after winning seven of their last eight league games - are level at 1-1 against third-placed Oxford thanks to Andy Barcham. Portsmouth, just outside the play-off places, lead Cambridge 1-0 with a goal from Marc McNulty.

Some rare good news for Morecambe, who have been sliding towards the relegation places after collecting one point from their last seven matches: They are 1-0 in front against Carlisle, with Kevin Ellison scoring the goal. Leyton Orient, now known commonly as Kevin Nolan's Leyton Orient, lead Crawley 1-0. Armand Gnanduillet is the scorer.

Jose Mourinho is at Craven Cottage today watching Fulham v Middlesbrough. The former Chelsea boss has been heavily linked to replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United. Has Jose been a Fulham fan this whole time? Possibly. More likely he is seeing how his pal Aitor Karanka is getting on...
