Another fine save, this time it is from Palace keeper Wayne Hennessey as he blocks Ola John's header with his knees at his near post.

Whatever the outcome from this game, Alan Pardew needs to get his players in for extra corner practice tomorrow.

They have their 14th of the game, and once again fail to trouble the Reading defence.

Seconds later, Reading's Stephen Quinn turns, shoots and his deflected strike almost creeps in at the far post, but Wayne Hennessey stretches out a hand to push the ball away to safety.

No goals, but this is a proper FA Cup tie now. End-to-end.

It is starting to feel like this FA Cup tie is going to spark into life any minute now as Crystal Palace break, two on two. Wilfried Zaha feeds a pass to Yannick Bolasie just inside the area, Bolasie's low ball is just behind Zaha but Emmanuel Adebayor charges in to lash the loose ball over.

Reading have decided to bring on Matej Vydra, top scorer in the FA Cup this season with six goals, for Simon Cox.

A good chance to make an immediate impact as Reading have a free-kick after Damien Delaney brings down Hal Robson-Kanu, but Ollie Norwood's effort is straight into the wall.

A bit of a kerfuffle as Wilfried Zaha and Chris Gunter clash. No major drama but the referee isn't happy, booking both of them.

Ali Al-Habsi take a bow! 

Cat-like reaction from the Reading keeper as he dives across to palm away Mile Jedinak's goalbound header. Moments later, Scott Dann's effort is cleared off the line.

Crystal Palace are picking up from where they left off in the first half here, and Reading have some defending to do. 

Two corners in quick succession for Palace, but they come to nothing.

Jake Cooper goes in for a 50-50 with Yannick Bolasie, both clatter into each other and the referee gives a free-kick Crystal Palace's way. 

It's a good position for Yohan Cabaye to have a crack at goal, around 30 yards out. Cabaye sends the ball into the middle of the box and it bounces off Paul McShane's head and into Ali Al-Habsi's hands. McShane always knew what he was doing...
