Bit of a to-do between Steven Naismith and Pape Soure. The Norwich forward seems to be saying that the Palace defender quite fancies the colour of his shirt. Or something. 

Norwich want a penalty. Dieumerci Mbokani tees up the onrushing Matt Jarvis, who is barged by Palace defender Damien Delaney. The Norwich players surround Michael Oliver, but he awards a corner instead. 

Wayne Hennessey comes to punch it away but misses it. Fortunately for him it comes to nothing. Hmmm.

Robbie Brady takes this left-footed and Timm Klose, is er, very close, to getting his head on that. 

Wouldn't be surprising if an opener came from a set-piece. The Norwich defender scored the first goal from that route last week against Newcastle. 

Yannick Bolasie drives it over to the penalty spot where Scott Dann is waiting and his header is on target and John Ruddy shuffles to his right to save. He had plenty of space there. 

Corner now to Norwich.

Jonny Howson breaks up another Palace surge illegally. Walking a tightrope perhaps. From the free-kick the hosts win a corner. 

Dieumerci Mbokani links well with Robbie Brady deep in Palace territory, this looks promising. The Norwich striker looks up but his chip to the back post is inaccurate and too powerful.

"It’s a big game for both teams. Both have to hold their nerve. Crystal Palace seem to have the edge but Norwich are keeping them at bay. 

"If Norwich can pull something out of this game, a win, they’re almost certainly safe."

Palace are very much reverting to type after 25 minutes. Plenty of endeavour on the wings but no killer instinct. 

Norwich striker Dieumerci Mbokani is up again after a collision with Pape Soure. 

Palace keeper Wayne Hennessey fails to breed confidence again. Comes out to collect a cross and then whacks the ball straight out.

I'm going to start Hennessey watch at this rate! 

As previously mentioned, Palace right winger Yannick Bolasie pulls back Martin Olsson for the first booking of the game. Doing his job, I suppose, although not within the laws of the game. 

Palace then go close again as Norwich striker Dieumerci Mbokani heads clear close to the goal-line from Yohan Cabaye's shot. 

The hosts getting closer but lacking a finish. Heard that many times this season, which is probably why they haven't won in 2016. 

Great chance for Palace as Yannick Bolasie steams down the right again. His cross evades everyone, but Pape Soure swings it back in from the left with Jason Puncheon slicing a chance into a Norwich defender from eight yards out. 

Jonny Howson then has a decent chance for Norwich as he moves infield but his effort is well over. Intriguingly poised so far, without much threat on goal. 

Newcastle are losing at Southampton by the way, which means a win here could be even more valuable. 

Break from Palace through the middle as Dwight Gayle bursts forward but he is brought down by Jonny Howson. Jason Puncheon over the ball as he floats it deep into the box but Andre Wisdom blocks the run of Scott Dann, who is not too pleased. Referee Michael Oliver is not interested in his appeal. 

Jason Puncheon concedes a free-kick after a couple of robust challenges. The ball is swung over by Gary O'Neil whose cross is dropped by Wayne Hennessey but Palace get away with it.

Not sure about you, but I always think the Palace keeper always has a mistake in him and that did not instil confidence in his defenders.

Norwich striker Dieumerci Mbokani plays a one-two with Steven Naismith with the ball falling to Matt Jarvis. His shot has some venom in it and it smacks Scott Dann right in the chops. Ooof. The Palace defender is on the deck but fine to carry on. 

Yannick Bolasie is down the right today with Wilfried Zaha on the bench. Maybe it's to try and negate the attacking threat of Norwich left-back Martin Olsson, who scored the winner against Newcastle last weekend?

Robbie Brady then fires well over. 

First inroad by Norwich via Robbie Brady. He's in a fine race down the Canaries left with Joel Ward but the Republic of Ireland international barges his opponent over. 

Plenty of width from both teams so far. 

The hosts looks up for this as Pape Soure bursts down the left. He tries three times to find a team-mate but fails. Then Yannick Bolasie wins a corner, and, well, Bakary Sako whacks it straight out on the other side of the pitch. Can't really explain why!
