Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew: "Our season is in the balance, it could still be a great season for us but we need to get some points in this league to get into a healthier position.

"There is a real determination from the group to get our league position healthier."

Norwich manager Alex Neil: "We've found a good balance now between attacking and defending, that's something I've been speaking about throughout the season.

"I think we're at a stage now where we're relatively comfortable with our game and everybody is enjoying it."

  6. 'Expect a real battle'published at 14:47 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

Crystal Palace v Norwich (15:00 BST)

    John Motson
BBC Match of the Day commentator at Selhurst Park

"On New Year's Day, Palace lay fifth in the table, 10 places above Norwich, but their run of 14 games without a victory has seen them plummet down the table. Now just three points separate these teams and that gap could disappear on Saturday.

"While the Eagles continue to search for an elusive league win in 2016, the Canaries' spirits will be high after getting two wins from two, just when they needed them.

"However, Norwich have lost six of their last seven away games, while Palace have lost six on the bounce at Selhurst Park and I see this being a low-scoring relegation scrap, decided by one goal.

"Expect a real battle between two teams still desperately scrambling for points."

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew: "We are trying to work on getting more than two goals in the game, so it's just about getting players on the pitch who can do that."

Norwich remain unchanged after their last-gasp win over Newcastle. After two wins a draw in their last three games, you can understand why.

Incidentally, the PA announcer has just been trying to tout Palace 2016-17 season tickets ahead of the match. Might be worth seeing how today goes first!

    Let's get some team news.

Conversely, I bet Norwich boss Alex O'Neill has been bouncing off the walls this week after their sensational 3-2 win over Newcastle last weekend.

That will certainly give the team belief and a win today will leave Palace as the team still trying to reverse their poor form.

'You'd always take the points in the bag' is a phrase trotted out at this time of the season when it reaches crunch-time. But is that so, in this case?

The good news for Palace fans is that manager Alan Pardew is confident his side can resurrect their woeful home form which amounts to 10 defeats this season.

They squeezed a point out of form-team West Ham last weekend and lost narrowly in their previous two homes games to leaders Leicester and Liverpool.

As Pardew says: "Some of our performances have been terrific but we just feel we haven't had any justice sometimes. We want to finish well, we have three home games and they are going to be very important to how we finish."

Norwich have won their last two consecutive Premier League games and are now four points above the relegation zone.

Crystal Palace are three points better off, have a game in hand but haven't won in 2016.

Which team would you rather be following, as the season nears its end?
