    Leicester 1-0 Swansea

Leicester have never won the top-flight title and I saw one of you text in earlier to ask when the last time that happened in England.

It was Nottingham Forest in 1978. A team who this Leicester side have been compared to plenty this season.

Can Leicester go on to win back-to-back European Cups?

I've given up saying 'impossible' with this lot...

    Leicester 1-0 Swansea

That goal has energised Leicester, who look a threat now every time they get on the ball. Jeff Schlupp charges past three men but he can't get a shot off and Swansea counter, Lukasz Fabianski freeing Wayne Routledge with a sensational 65-yard half-volleyed pass, wow!

Routledge finds Gylfi Sigurdsson - his shot is blocked. Good game.

As it stands - and with a long, long way to go - Leicester are going eight points clear at the top of the table. They would have just nine points left to play for.

Spurs play West Brom on Monday evening.

Adam Byrne: Mahrez totally did keeper with his eyes, keeper was expecting left foot curler to the far corner - he put it flat to near post.

Nii Amponsah: Ash W. has now made up with Mahrez. What a gift of a goal.

Mark Taylor: And the Leicester luck goes on and on and on and on...

"It was a lazy pass by Williams the captain, and Mahrez bends it in the near post, giving the goalkeeper the eyes. A great finish. Swansea were on top."

Ice cool! Riyad Mahrez steps up to the plate when his team need him and that is a massive goal!

Ashley Williams made the rare clanger, the Swans skipper could only slap his pass into the chest of Mahrez, the Algerian was in on goal but kept his cool remarkably well to bury a low shot from 15 yards.

    Leicester 0-0 Swansea

Excellent tempo to the game now as Leicester hound Swansea into coughing up possession. N'Golo Kante gets the crowd clapping those plastic clappers with real vigour after he appears from nowhere to win it back.

    No efforts on goal yet.

    Robbie Savage

"Swansea have started brightly. There's been plenty of touches already for Leon Britton.

"With no out-ball to Jamie Vardy, Leicester's build-up play is going to have to be really good. They'll need to play it into Leonardo Ulloa coming short."

    Leicester 0-0 Swansea

Robert Huth stands up strong to dispossess Jack Cork wide on the Swansea right. There's no out ball for the Foxes defender though and they end up losing out.

    Leicester 0-0 Swansea

It's all Swansea so far but there's nothing unusual in that. Leicester are a team built on transitions and counter-attacks, not probing possession. Can they attack with such pace without Jamie Vardy though?

    Leicester 0-0 Swansea

Wayne Routledge whips in a cracking early cross for Swansea from the left wing, as Andre Ayew appears to be struggling with a knock in these very early stages.

Ibrahim Hewitt: "Bugle"? (see 16:11) It's a post-horn - hence "The Post-Horn Gallop, external". Bugle, indeed.

Apologies Ibrahim. I always thought it was a bugle. You live and learn.

"I have made plenty of visits to Leicester City this season. It is always noisy - but it has never been noisier than this.

"The pre-match announcer is former Leicester City star Alan Birchenall. It was difficult to understand a word he was bellowing into his microphone but it did the job in working the Foxes fans into a frenzy."

    Steady on Gary. Believe!

It must be hard to believe what is going on this season if you are a Leicester fan. The place is buzzing though as the announcer reads out the teams.

    All set?

Who are the neutrals out there backing to win the league and why?

Tom Hart: Leicester!Who could want them to miss out?

Goalsgalore: Leicester as it reminds me of the astonishing things Wigan did .. small club, small budget and all the rest BUT BIG achievement.

Munichwalker: Such a shame that Robin Williams is no longer with us. He would be a banker to play Ranieri in a movie of this season.

  20. 'Swansea have nothing to play for'published at 16:09 British Summer Time 24 April 2016

Leicester v Swansea City (16:15 BST)

    Phil McNulty
    BBC Sport chief football writer

"Another one of those tense days at Leicester City's King Power Stadium. The Foxes can extend their lead on second-placed Tottenham to eight points with victory today - but they will also know they need that win with Mauricio Pochettino's side flying after that 4-0 thrashing of Stoke City and with a game to come against West Bromwich Albion at White Hart Lane tomorrow night.

"Nerves were badly frayed during the 2-2 draw with West Ham United here last week and today Leicester are without suspended Jamie Vardy after he was sent off following a second yellow card for diving against The Hammers.

"Swansea City have nothing tangible to play for - so they will be relaxed and might just be able to play on Leicester's nerves."
