Seconds earlier Jeff Schlupp's cross was beaten clear by David de Gea. Leicester ending the half well.

That is a cracking ball! Riyad Mahrez works the ball on to his left foot from wide on the right and sends in a peach of a cross, Leo Ulloa gets there ahead of his marker but he can't control his header and sends it well over the top.

That whole attack started with yet another superb interception from N'Golo Kante.

Damian Fogarty: Simpson-Lingard tussle made easier for referee with Schmeichel's quick & decisive clearance.

Jesse Lingard needs a summer on the weights as he again goes down in a heap after an admittedly scruffy challenge, this time from Christian Fuchs. It's just a corner for United, one which Marouane Fellaini can only pass back to Kasper Schmeichel with a very tame header. 

More of an ebb and flow to the game now as Leicester look able to counter with more regularity. Christian Fuchs is the latest player to test the officials' patience as he steps across his man.

And there we go, Leicester do get Riyad Mahrez on the ball in a dangerous area and he is able to tee up Jeff Schlupp on his left, Schlupp's first touch is slightly astray and Antonio Valencia blocks it up and over the top.

Riyad Mahrez has had just eight touches in the opening 29 minutes - Leicester need to get their man of the year into the game if they want to win this today.

Leicester City's fans respond to a poor free-kick from Wayne Rooney by making unflattering - and slightly industrial - comparisons with their own England striker Jamie Vardy.

Vardy will return from a two-game suspension for next Saturday's home game with Everton, although Leicester will hope their business is done by then.

For now they are right back in this game after Wes Morgan's equaliser.

Leicester cannot get out at all, they are camped within a 35-yard box in front of Kasper Schmeichel's goal. Leicester's defence is made of stern stuff but another 60-odd minutes of this won't do anybody's nerves any good.

Shenanigans! It's all going off in the penalty area as first Robert Huth appears to grab the hair of Marouane Fellaini, with the Belgian then chopping an elbow into the chin of the German defender.

Referee Michael Oliver takes no action, but presumably he didn't see either incident. We could see a card or two if that continues.

Martin Keown is on his feet in the MOTD office, as Wes Morgan heads the equaliser.

"Cometh the hour, cometh the captain! Great reaction to conceding the early goal. Ahhh, this is bringing back memories."

You can't help but think he'd still love to be out there, getting stuck in.

Leo Ulloa has offered nothing in attack for Leicester so far but he has to stretch and make a very good clearing header inside his own penalty area. Manchester United look back to [more like] their old self here. Leicester are a bag of nerves, shanking clearances and crashing into tackles.
