    Strangely, Scotland's two major cup trophies are now in the possession of two of the clubs who joined the senior leagues from the Highland League in 1995 - Inverness Caledonian Thistle being holders of the Scottish Cup.

    What a fairy story for Ross County. The team from the tiny town of Dingwall, Scottish senior football's most northerly outpost, a town with less than 6,000 inhabitants.

    Most of the town are at Hampden, but a big party will be underway on their return.
