All Manchester United now. Norwich are on the edge of their own box. Can they find a way of escaping up the pitch to find a goal against the run of play?

"Norwich have fallen into the trap of getting good numbers banking up behind the ball but you have got to aware and be touch tight on the players."

Away fans expecting goals? 13 games since a Manchester United player on the pitch has found the back of the net.

Today, they've had nine shots but only one on target.

Juan Mata starting to dictate the play. Once again he slips a ball through to a team-mate who runs in behind the Norwich defence.

This time it is Antonio Valencia on the right, but his cutback is cleared by a Norwich defender.

The home side really need to push out, retreating is only inviting pressure.

Better from Manchester United in the second period, carving open the Norwich defence.

Juan Mata's dinked ball into the box is met by fellow Spaniard Ander Herrera, but he slips on the turn and his volley strikes the side-netting.

The ease with which they got through will be of concern to the home supporters.

Norwich manager Alex Neil, looking pensive on the touchline, barks out instructions to his players.

The Canaries are in a perilous position so desperately need the three points.

Manchester United do too, if they want to finish fourth. A second half of serious importance, this. Let's hope it's better than the first.

Back under way. Who can be the hero? I predict a Robbie Brady winner with a curled strike into the bottom corner.

Louis van Gaal has lost the shades. Where have they gone? Did he throw them at Memphis Depay at half-time?

You'd be angry if you were a customer in a restaurant and you had Manchester United players as waiters. They'd give you no service.

Striker Wayne Rooney has just 12 touches of the ball in the first half. Of the team's outfield players, only Matteo Darmian (10) had fewer...and he went off after 15 minutes.

Nick Pool: Bring on Adnan Januzaj !!! Best player 2 years ago I can't believe he is worse than what is currently on the pitch!

The Frame Lab: A lot of people criticising the way Man Utd play, who are 5th in the league. What does that say for the rest of the elp teams?

"I would say United will be slightly happier being away side. The way things are panning out I can see it being 1-0 to United. Norwich have got to win it and have got to take it to United to get something.

"I think Man United are missing the pace of Marcus Rashford."

Norwich looking to get on the scoresheet late on in the half.

Wes Hoolahan switches the play to the left, where Gary O'Neil is situated. His cross is met by the head of Cameron Jerome in the box, but the big man is moving away from goal and David de Gea and come out to gather.

Hold on, there's been some action. A bit of off-the-ball argy-bargy involving Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo and Norwich striker Cameron Jerome.

Referee Craig Pawson steps in and diffuses the situation.

Tempers starting to boil on a hot day,

Three more minutes of this dross to play before half-time.

Pedestrian pace from Manchester United, knocking the ball to each other without any urgency. It's not because of the hot weather, they play like this every week.

Norwich can sit back and soak up the pressure. In fact, they can hit them on the break but big Cameron Jerome doesn't have the fleet-footedness to get away from the defenders.

Oluwaseun Badejo: Wondering just what Rooney brings to this side. No pace, even less guile. Ah, must be because he is captain

White Lion Radio: Guaranteed defeat for Man Utd today, so far they have been pathetic and have square pegs in round holes all over the pitch.

Muigai Moses: Painful football to watch from MUFC Rooney can't seem to hold the ball long enough for support & zero wing play.
