Another good chance for the Hammers as Diafra Sakho gets free from a corner but mistimes his jump and slams a header over the bar. 

West Ham come again and win a free-kick, usual immaculate delivery from Payet but Chris Smalling stretches to make a fine clearance. Michail Antonio then hits a deflected effort wide. 

Dimitri Payet is back with us but not at his sharpest after he gives the ball away cheaply and in a dangerous area. West Ham survive.

Manchester United growing into the game now after a really ragged first 30 minutes. A win for them tonight would be massive.

Dimitri Payet goes down with an injury but he is soon up and running again. As it stands, West Ham would be just a point behind Manchester United.

A much better spell of play from Manchester United now, moving the ball sharply and swiftly. It comes to Wayne Rooney deep on the right, one touch and whipped over, lovely cross. Marcus Rashford arriving on it but Michail Antonio just about bundles it away.

Sir Trevor Brooking: "West Ham should be at least two goals up. Martial slipped. Noble ran with it, he slipped it to Payet and I was looking to see the ball nestling in the back of the net and he has mishit his shot. Two golden opportunities."

It's another GREAT chance for West Ham! They should be at least 2-0 up now.

Anthony Martial loses the ball in a dangerous area and Mark Noble sets off in pursuit, he has Dimitri Payet to his left and finds him. Payet steps into the area, leans back and spanners his shot well wide.

Of all the players Slaven Bilic would have wanted on that chance...

Plenty of green arrows (successful passes ) in the Manchester United half, plenty of red arrows (unsuccessful passes) in the West Ham half.

The visitors are OK passing the ball about in their own half but cross the halfway line and they are misplacing too many. 

Manuel Lanzini laces a 25-yarder wide after good approach play from Diafra Sakho, West Ham still well on top.
