Well, that's it for us here on this page. We've seen the team to beat in this tournament, as far as I'm concerned.

But there's still more action tonight. Belgium take on Hungary at 20:00 BST -that's on BBC One. Or you can watch it and read about it here.

    Auf Wiedersehen, pets.

  2. 'Italy or Spain will be more demanding'published at 19:08 British Summer Time 26 June 2016

    Germany 3-0 Slovakia

Germany striker Mario Gomez: "I think we have shown a great game, we dominated and it was exciting, we were very flexible. We deserved the win and can build on it.

"We know of Julian Draxler's capabilities and he has two magical feet, he is a good footballer and invests everything for the side.

"In the next game, we will play Italy or Spain, they will demand a lot more from us, they are better than the opposition we have had, it has not been easy against the defensive sides. We will try to impose our game and try to play with the same emotions as today."

Man of the match, an assist and a goal. Let's hear from this fella.

Germany forward Julian Draxler: "I am happy I played a good game and helped the side.

"We have a lot of quality in our side, it is not a problem not to play matches and I wanted to show in training I could play in the side.

"The coach gave me a lot of self-confidence and trusts in me."

  4. 'German second goal was decisive'published at 19:05 British Summer Time 26 June 2016

    Germany 3-0 Slovakia

Slovakia goalkeeper Matus Kozacik: "We feel sorry because from the beginning, the Germans dominated. We did not make them suffer at all. It is a pity.

"Perhaps after we defeated them in the warm-up, they prepared better. They played in a disciplined way and showed their greatness.

"If Juraj Kucka could have scored, we might have done something but their second goal was decisive.

"We have achieved a lot, I am very happy I could be here. After some time, we will appreciate it even more."

  5. 'Happy with what we achieved'published at 19:03 British Summer Time 26 June 2016

"The fans were great in the whole tournament, so thank you to them."

Slovakia, who can be proud of their efforts in their first European Championship, are on the pitch with their kids.

When did the trend for having your family come on the pitch midway through a tournament start?

Meanwhile, Germany go over to their fans, hand in hand, and salute their supporters.

Italy and Spain face each other at the Stade de France tomorrow.

The reward, or should I say punishment, for getting through, is a meeting with this impressive German side in Bordeaux on Saturday.

3-0 is not fair, it should be more. Total domination from Germany in the first half, but there was 25 minutes in the second half where you thought Slovakia could get back into it. No.

It was actually the Germans who went off, then they stepped it up again. They seem to decide when to go through the gears and play, when they fancy it, they turn it on.

They have an ominous look about them, it is scary. They played incredibly well and showed they can be dangerous from a whole set of areas, either down the wings, through the middle or passing moves.

The German players have just been sniggering to each other, they are enjoying it so much.

They are a joy to watch in so many different ways, they can change it and go to different paces. They have a tricky winger in Julian Draxler, they have ball players who are unstoppable at passing, they have fitness.

They are not the finished article, but they are not far off fit.

    Two minutes added time.

And it should have been four for Germany.

Toni Kroos steps on to Joshua Kimmich's low centre and hits it straight at the keeper.

Some of you pointing out Lothar Matthaus was a midfielder.

I'm showing my (youthful) age, of course, and referring to the back end of his career.

I'm even going to go as far as calling him a sweeper - how do you like those apples?

Slovakia are looking a bit ragged now. All that running around their own penalty area against England is catching up with them - you're welcome, Germany.

They make a switch, with Kornel Salata on for Norbert Gyomber.

Bye, bye Norbert. You'll be missed.

Could've have been a goal for Lukas Podolski, but for two things.

    1. He was offside.

    2. He missed.

Lovely chipped ball to him by Joshua Kimmich, though.

Unfortunately the game is slowly deflating like a party balloon you find in the cupboard under the stairs six weeks after your birthday.
