It is a long punt and it catches out Ben Mee and Stephen Ward. They shouldn't be getting cut open with a ball like that but Tom Heaton anticipates the danger and that is brave goalkeeping.

  2. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 35 mins

Again QPR threaten to stun the Turf Moor crowd.

Michael Petrasso almost on the end of a long ball forward but Tom Heaton is off his line quick enough to snuff out the threat.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink probably the more pleased of the two managers so far.

He'll be pleased to see the spirit his QPR side have shown so far as Matt Phillips is the latest to get a shot in from distance to keep Tom Heaton busy.

Burnley have struggled a bit with the long, high diagonal balls. QPR are asking all the questions from an attacking point of view. Matt Ingram in QPR's goal hasn't had a shot to save as yet so their back four will be quite happy.

  5. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 31 mins

Tom Heaton forced into another smart save in the Burnley goal as Junior Hoilett has a strike from range for QPR after a deep free-kick falls to him on the edge of the penalty box.

Straight at him, but swirling around somewhat in the breeze and QPR's promising first half continues.

  6. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 30 mins

A couple more decent set-piece opportunities for QPR, but they fail to capitalise at either the free-kick or a subsequent corner.

Burnley being forced to respect their visitors so far.

Andre Gray hasn't been in the game at all. His touch has let him down on a couple of occasions. It could be a bit of nerves. He has come a long way in a short space of time himself.

Middlesbrough drew on Friday, Brighton drew earlier today, and Burnley are being held by QPR at the moment.

So the table is pretty much as you were from a few days ago.

Remember, a Burnley win will be enough to take them into the Premier League.

  9. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 25 mins

Half-chances, but nothing more than that so far in this one.

Credit to QPR who have turned up to have a go and potentially spoil the promotion party.

  10. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 23 mins

Another half-chance comes Burnley's way. Sam Vokes with the chest down and volley inside the QPR area as Cole Kpekawa's header is tame and straight at him.

Good recovery, though, from the young full-back to block the effort.

You know the pressure is on Burnley. You say you want to do it on your home ground but human nature will always mean you have nerves. Going in at 0-0 at the break will not be the worst thing as they'll have momentum with them.

  12. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 21 mins

Sunshine appears to have crept behind the clouds now at Turf Moor.

Not been the brightest of starts from the hosts so far, but they will know they have the ability to produce something special in front of their own fans.

More attention meanwhile for QPR's Sebastian Polter from referee John Moss as he gives a free-kick away for deliberate handball.

That is the threat QPR carry. It was a good diagonal ball and good awareness from Polter to find Phillips from the first chance. It was a good save from Heaton as it bounced just in front of him. He had to put enough on it to put it away from danger.

  14. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 17 mins

Another decent break forward from QPR but this time Stephen Ward is alert to clear it from midfielder Michael Petrasso as he tried to bring it down on the penalty spot.

  15. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 16 mins

Half-chance for QPR as Matt Phillips meets a diagonal ball on the edge of the penalty area and Tom Heaton has to be alert to parry it away.

Bit more to encourage Burnley manager Sean Dyche as Joey Barton links up in midfield but over hits a cross over to Scott Arfield who is running in from deep. Out goes the ball for a goal kick.

The one thing Burnley do is the basics right. They rarely get exposed when they go forward as they are so well drilled on the training ground. It is good to watch a well-organised side play like this. They can mix it up on the pitch as well.

  18. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 11 mins

George Boyd tries to wriggle through a narrow space along the QPR byline but left-back Cole Kpekawa is there to deny him.

No real sightings of goal for either side in this one yet.

QPR have settled quite well and look relaxed. They have got attacking talent in Junior Hoilett and Matt Phillips and Burnley need to be careful.

  20. Burnley 0-0 QPRpublished at 8 mins

Patient opening to this one in the early evening sunshine.

Polter again in the action for QPR as he fails to control a long ball forward and then there's a clash in the air between Sam Vokes and Karl Henry with the Burnley striker getting a slight knock from Henry's elbow.
