Borussia Dortmund have one last chance to win a trophy this season (barring an unlikely comeback in the Bundesliga) and they're taking it.

Dortmund nab the lead in their German Cup semi-final against Hertha Berlin, Gonzalo Castro precisely curling into the corner after he pounced on a loose ball just inside the Hertha box.

Thomas Tuchel's men are on course to reach the final on 21 May. The opponents? Bayern Munich...

We're under way in the Basque Country. Fifth-placed Athletic are likely to cause Atletico a few problems, but none in the opening five minutes or so. No drama to report yet.

No messing about by ref Ricardo De Burgos, who toots his whistle as soon as the clock ticks to the 45-minute mark. So far, so good for Barcelona. Two Luis Suarez goals are showing the Madrid boys that they're back in business. Panic? What panic.

    Deportivo 0-2 Barcelona

Lionel Messi is in the wars today. The Barca forward bravely jumps to meet a cross lumped into the area, but is taken out by on-rushing Depor keeper Manu. He also wipes out his own team-mate Fernando Navarro, but more importantly punches the ball clear.

Heading into the final five minutes of the first half at the Riazor. All Barca, who have slowed the pace down and knocking the ball around at their leisure.

    Deportivo 0-2 Barcelona

Uh oh. Lionel Messi is down clutching his ankle! Headline writers across the world suddenly perk up. The Barca talisman crumbles after a clumsy late challenge from a Depor defender. On comes the medical man, applies a good soak of the magic sponge and Messi is back on his feet,

Luis Suarez should be taking the match ball home! Not now, obviously. At full-time. Another wonderful Barca move leaves Depor's defence floundering, Lionel Messi pinging the ball out to the right side of the penalty box to the unmarked Dani Alves. The Brazilian picks out Suarez with a first-time sidefooted pass, only for Barca's two-goal hero to bundle the ball wide. It was easier to score!

Atletico are hot on the heels of Barca, Fernando Torres is coring goals again. Funny old game, isn't it?

"You should never stop believing, anything can happen in football, who would have said we would end up in this situation," says the former Liverpool and Chelsea striker.

"I have no idea what is happening with Barcelona but football is like this, there have been moments when we've gone through bad patches and we've come out fighting.

"Just imagine if we'd given up? We're all excited and enjoying this great moment but we hope and believe the best is still to come."

    Deportivo 0-2 Barcelona

If Depor are to prove me wrong and make a game of this then they need to score before half-time. But they cannot continue to waste these chances! Another opening for Lucas Perez in the left channel of the Barca box, letting a long ball bounce once before thumping goalwards. too much juice though as the ball whizzes over the bar.

Oh my word. Sumptuous stuff from Barcelona. Lionel Messi looks one way, passes the other, slicing the Depor defence wide open in the blink of an eye. Luis Suarez scampers onto the first-time ball, confidently tucking in his 28th Liga goal of the season. Game over already.

How are Depor not level?! I'll tell you. First, home winger Celso Borges unconvincingly stabs straight at Costa Rican compatriot Claudio Bravo, then dillies and dallies as he tries to round the Barca keeper seconds later. The ball eventually falls to Oriol Riera as Barca bodies scramble back, but the ex-Wigan man fires over. Got to take them chances!

Penalty? Luis Suarez thinks so. The Barca scorer looks up to the referee, arms outstretched, after tumbling under pressure from home defender Sidnei. Ref Ricardo De Burgos isn't impressed. Me neither.

Deadlock broken. Not his prettiest goal of the season, but possibly one of Luis Suarez's most important. Lionel Messi forces a corner with a rising shot, Barca punish the hosts from the set-piece. And it is shocking defending really. The delivery from the left goes over Messi's head at the near post, allowing Suarez to outmuscle his marker and prod in from close range.
