  1. Goodbye after a long day!published at 17:44 British Summer Time 24 April 2016

Thanks for your company today on another strange day in Scottish football as Celtic edge closer to another league title yet find themselves barracked by their fans. Dundee United get a similar reaction at the other end of the table.

  3. Dundee United manager Mixu Paatelainenpublished at 17:39 British Summer Time 24 April 2016

"Kilmarnock losing just before us obviously meant more to Hamilton than our boys.

"This was a chance for us to put pressure on Kilmarnock, but we were nowhere near the intensity and desire to get on the ball and I am really disappointed with that.

"It is not good enough. It is a long season and you get what you deserve.

"It is very hard to win consistently when you lose your individual battles, but if that aggression does not come naturally, it is very difficult to change."

  4. Celtic manager Ronny Deilapublished at 17:36 British Summer Time 24 April 2016

    On BBC Radio Scotland

"Of course it is tough for the players to get that reaction from the fans, but we did not perform well today.

"The second half. there was not enough heart and energy in our play.

"But, with Aberdeen having lost on Friday, we are now nine points ahead and we have only lost three games in 34.

"We need to stay together, get over the line and we are only three points away from a fifth championship in a row.

"I talk to Peter Lawwell all the time and it is not the first time he has been in the dressing-room."

  5. Hamilton Accies player-manager Martin Canningpublished at 17:31 British Summer Time 24 April 2016

    On BBC Radio Scotland

"That was us back to our best in terms of pressing the game and performance.

"Under the pressure we were under, it was great.

    "Individually, they all performed well.

"Every game has been big recently and next week would be huge if we can make sure we stay in the Premiership."

  6. Celtic mysterypublished at 17:26 British Summer Time 24 April 2016

Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell has apparently gone into the dressing-room after the game. Rather unusual - and intriguing.

This club need to wake up. If Aberdeen improve, if Hearts improve, if Rangers spend a bit of money, they can light a fire under Celtic

  14. FT: Dundee United 1-3 Hamilton Acciespublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 24 April 2016

There were emotional scenes at Tannadice as tearful United midfielder John Rankin embraced some fans in the stand.

It seems that, although they can still avoid relegation arithmetically, United are now resigned to their relegation fate.

    Dundee United 1-3 Hamilton Accies

Their superb victory means Accies cannot be caught by their hosts and are safe from automatic relegation.

They are now also seven points clear of second-bottom Kilmarnock, who lost earlier away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

For United, their season is petering out in dismal fashion and they remain eight points behind Killie and are almost certainly going to be playing in the Championship next season.

  16. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 24 April 2016

    Celtic 1-1 Ross County

County, who knocked them out of the Scottish League Cup, do their best again to spoil Celtic's season.

The point moves Celtic nine points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the Premiership and, mathematically, they only need four more points to retain the title, but the boos from the fans at the end tell their own story and that's why manager Ronny Deila will be leaving the club this summer.

I am shocked today. I thought there would be a reaction for the manager, for the fans and after last week's result. That is normally the Celtic way, but this has been awful

Dundee United 1-3 Hamilton Accies (Simon Murray)

Dundee United to their credit are fighting to the end, and Simon Murray gets some scant reward for their efforts with a late consolation, lobbing the ball over goalkeeper Michael McGovern.

  19. Celtic 1-1 Ross Countypublished at 16:47 British Summer Time 24 April 2016

Celtic continue to stumble ineligantly towards retention of the Scottish Premiership title. It looks like there is no great hunger from the players to send manager Ronny Deila off with a flourish.
