Stephen Dobbie came off the bench to score the only goal of the game to help Bolton to their first win in 15 games.

The relegated Trotters sign off with a home victory against play-off-bound Hull. 

It's a result worth celebrating at the end of a terrible campaign.

The last offering from the left is low and harmless. Bolton resist, but the pressure is huge.

Bolton do enough to clear and we have another corner, which leads to a third corner in succession.

Hull have all the ball and a corner will come in from the right.

There is four added minutes at the Macron Stadium.

Can Bolton hold on and earn their first win in 15 games?

Hull play the ball with great fluency across the middle of the park, Sone Aluko onto Sam Clucas then Robert Snodgrass.

But there is a wall of white shirts in the way and the attack is blocked on the edge of the area. 

It's not particularly desperate from Bolton as Hull simply can't break them down.

Bolton goalkeeper Ben Amos is up, up and away to pluck the ball out of the air, beating Robert Snodgrass to a lofted cross. The keeper comes down with a crash, looked pretty neat.

It's a little hit-and-hope from Hull at the moment.

Sone Aluko makes room for himself on the edge of the area, and while space opens up for the Hull forward he fires wildly off target.

We are into the final 10 minutes at the Macron Stadium now, time is running out for Tigers to rescue a point.

Hull also with their final change, Tom Huddlestone is replaced by Ryan Taylor.

A sense of urgency now being shown by Hull City players as they search for an equaliser. While the result itself will mean little to Hull today, they will be keen to head into the play-offs with their unbeaten run intact.

Get ready for the Championship, Wigan fans.

Yanic Wildschut's quick-fire double has put the Latics 3-0 ahead at Blackpool. Promotion will be secured in a few minutes' time.

Stephen Dobbie has added real spark to Bolton this half. Of course, he netted the opener but he has been busy down the left for the Trotters.

He wins a free-kick and then links up with Mark Davies, who drives a harmless shot at Eldin Jakupovic. Lively stuff.

Steve Bruce goes to his bench for the first time as Mohamed Diame comes on for Chuba Akpom, who will leave this match with a few regrets after missing chances.

Shaun Maloney also goes off for Hull, with Sone Aluko on in his place.

Earlier, Emile Heskey was replaced by George Newell for Bolton - that change was lost in the madness of the opening goal.

If this was a musical, it would be The Sound of Music because the Macron is alive with the sound of music right now.

Hull's Robert Snodgrass doing his best to silence the hosts as he tries to direct a far post header goalwards. He can't and the Trotters fans remain happy.

Hull striker Chuba Akpom cannons one off the crossbar from 12 yards.

He absolutely smashed that against the frame of the goal and the sound rings around the Macron Stadium.

How Akpom has not opened the scoring already is beyond me. He's had numerous chances.

As Bolton prepare for life in League One next season, Wigan are getting ready for a return to the Championship.

A draw at Blackpool will be enough for promotion - Chris McCann's goal with 60 minutes played has put the Latics 1-0 up.
