  1. 'Puncheon should be playing'published at 16:38 British Summer Time 21 May 2016

Crystal Palace v Manchester United (17:30 BST)

    Danny Murphy
Ex-Liverpool midfielder at Wembley on BBC One

"It's a big blow for Jason Puncheon. I think he should be playing, he knits their play together. It's a bit negative from Alan Pardew. The three midfielders in that Palace midfield doesn't suggest he's going to go for it."

  2. Team newspublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 21 May 2016

Crystal Palace v Manchester United (17:30 BST)

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha starts as Eagles boss Alan Pardew makes six changes from their last league game against Southampton last Sunday. Keeper Wayne Hennessey, centre-back Scott Dann, midfielder Yohan Cabaye, winger Yannick Bolasie and Connor Wickham are the others returning to the starting XI. Jason Puncheon and Dwight Gayle are two of the players who drop to the bench.

Crystal Palace XI: Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare, Jedinak, Cabaye, Zaha, McArthur, Bolasie, Wickham.

Manchester United beat Bournemouth on Tuesday after the bomb scare at Old Trafford on the last day of the season. Manager Louis van Gaal makes two changes from that game as defender Marcos Rojo and midfielder Marouane Fellaini replace Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Jesse Lingard. There's no Memphis Depay in the entire matchday 18.

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Blind, Rojo, Carrick, Mata, Fellaini, Rooney, Martial, Rashford.

Crystal Palace v Manchester United (17:30 BST)

    Mark Bright
Former Crystal Palace striker at Wembley on BBC One

"For us Crystal Palace players back then, losing that FA Cup final to Manchester United saw our world turned upside own. We went away on a Caribbean tour at the end of the season and it still took us three weeks to get over it.

"United are expected to win today. The pressure is on them. But it's 26 years since we played United and they will be back. For Palace, the wait to get here again might be a bit longer. Today I'm hoping the underdog comes out on top."

  6. '90% of Britain want United to lose'published at 16:34 British Summer Time 21 May 2016

Crystal Palace v Man Utd (17:30 BST)

    Kevin Day
Comedian and Crystal Palace fan on BBC Radio 5 live

"I think 90% of Britain want United to lose and 90% of the world want them to win. It’s not like the 2013 play-off final, where our financial future was riding on it.

"There are no ramifications for not winning it. There’s more on it for West Ham, who would qualify for Europe if we win, than us.

"Nine of United’s players would walk into our first team. Only Yohan Cabaye and Wilfried Zaha would get in front of their players.

"Scott Dann is the most underrated player in the Premier League – he should have gone to the Euros."

    Danny Murphy
Ex-Liverpool midfielder at Wembley on BBC One

"Palace's players can handle the occasion. Today's a chance to put their names down in history and I expect a good performance. The advantage of having the semi-finals at Wembley too is that you come here for a match like this and know a little of what to expect."

United 1990 cup final replay goalscoring hero Lee Martin:

"I didn't score too many goals in my career. I was fortunate to get a goal here - I think I was 60-1."

Who would the equivalent hero be today? Pape Souare? Marcos Rojo?

Plenty of 1990 chat swirling around Wembley of course.

Then Crystal Palace captain Geoff Thomas left the club for Wolves in 1993, but injury blighted the end of this career with short spells at Nottingham Forest, Barnsley, Notts County and Crewe preceding his retirement in 2002.

He was diagnosed with leukemia the following year, getting confirmation that he had the disease while he was sat in a traffic jam.

Since then he has raised millions of pounds to fund research into the disease. He rode the Tour de France route alongside disgraced former winner and fellow cancer survivor Lance Armstrong for charity in 2015.

"The United manager Louis van Gaal is probably under a little pressure and hopefully there will be a different outcome to 26 years ago.
