    Crystal Palace 1-1 Manchester United

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

"This is proper FA Cup football. Wayne Rooney just would not be denied on a run to goal and he dinks a fantastic ball to the far post, Marouane Fellaini knocks it down and Juan Mata finishes. When you go a goal down you ask for the character and we definitely saw that from Rooney. We've got a real game on now."

Manchester United were just about to withdraw Juan Mata by all accounts. He's won the FA Cup before and he could do it again now.

    Extra time?

    Crystal Palace 1-1 Man Utd

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger at Wembley on BBC Radio 5 live

"Wayne Rooney was absolutely brilliant there. He picks the ball up, drives forward, delays the pass, delays, and stands a brilliant cross up to Juan Mata. Rooney's been the best player on the park today."

We have lift off now. FA Cup final lift-off!

Brilliant from Wayne Rooney as he drives at the Palace defence, carries it maybe 30 yards and then stands up a cross to the back post. Juan Mata watches it all the way and crashes in a left-footed volley which squirms through the legs of Joel Ward on the line and in...

  6. 'What a reaction'published at 19:13 British Summer Time 21 May 2016

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Manchester United

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

"An inspirational finish. Jason Puncheon was disappointed at being left out and what a reaction. It is a Roy of the Rovers moment. You felt his disappointment at not being selected but maybe it was a masterstroke from Alan Pardew."

    Jason Puncheon

Pick that one out! Cometh the hour, cometh the substitute!

In 1990 it was Ian Wright, today it's Jason Puncheon! A corner is cleared and then hoiked back into the area, Puncheon brings it down superbly but he's wide on the left and it looks like he'll have to cross it.

Instead, he thumps a shot on the bounce right through David de Gea! Alan Pardew celebrates in, well, unique style...

Into the last 15 minutes of the regulation 90 at Wembley. Palace fans still physically bouncing, plenty of volume too. I don't know how they keep at it.

Ashley Young played as the central striker at Tottenham earlier this season. He was ineffective and United were thumped. Let's see how he gets on this time.

Palace are not in the game as an attacking threat at all. They are camped in 0-0 land.

Phil McNamara: As soon as Rashford becomes England's next big hope, he obviously goes and gets injured doesn't he?

Paul Gourley: So LVG drops Depay and now has to make a point and bring on Young who shouldn't be anywhere near sub bench
