A huge moment in the Vicente Calderon. Kevin Gamerio is on goal and Javier Mascherano tries to pull the shirt off him. It was a goalscoring opportunity so the Barcelona defender is sent off.

The offence was just outside the box so it's a free-kick, not a penalty.

Some of Barcelona's best passing of the game sees Dani Alves flick the ball to Lionel Messi, who plays it into Andres Iniesta. The Barca captain is in the box and but can't get a shot away.

WHAT A TACKLE. Adil Rami comes in with a head-first sliding tackle and takes the ball off Neymar.

Dani Alves almost opens the scoring from 30 yards out. The ball falls to the former Sevilla right-back, who lets it bounce and hammers in a shot which fizzes wide of the far post.

Barcelona are really struggling to get their game really going.

Lionel Messi gets the ball well outside the box and the pitch opens up for him to have a cheeky little shot but he tries to find Luis Suarez instead and overhits his pass.

He should have gone alone.

Sevilla's Grzegorz Krychowiak has a couple of chances to shoot from 20 yards out but doesn't really get either of them right. Vicente Iborra is caught offside as he tries to get this head onto the second effort.

Sevilla boss Unai Emery will be delighted with his side's performance so far - they've matched their more expensive opponents all the way.

Sevilla have a big chance to open the scoring but Coke - who scored twice against Liverpool - fluffs his lines this time. He has a shot from 12 yards out but gets his calculations wrong. His effort using the outside of his boot is well wide.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen then does well to turn away a cross from his goal.

Andres Iniesta does a brilliant pirouette outside the box to keep the ball under control but then his pass is overhit to Neymar. The Brazilian gets onto it and tries a bit of skill himself, winning a corner - which comes to nothing.

There's not a huge lot of report on the pitch at the moment - a bit of pushing from corners, it's been a bit of a scrappy game.

Possibly a worrying stat for Sevilla - Lionel Messi has scored 25 goals against them to date - he hasn't scored more goals against any other club.
