  3. Juventus win Coppa Italiapublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 22 May 2016

Juventus became the first Italian side to ever win back-to-back doubles as substitute Alvaro Morata scored an extra-time winner against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia final.

Morata had only been on the pitch for two minutes when he hit a sweet half-volley - his third touch - to beat AC Milan's child goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri said after the game: “I had an important decision to make in extra-time: whether to play for a penalty shootout or to have one last roll of the dice to secure victory. I went for the second option."

  4. PSG win Coupe de Francepublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 22 May 2016

There was no way Zlatan Ibrahimovic was signing off from Paris St-Germain in understated style, was there?

The 34-year-old Swede, who could be on the dole from 1 July, scored twice as PSG beat Marseille 4-2 in Le Classique in the French Cup final.

His 156th PSG goal - a club record - ensured the capital side won the domestic quadruple - including their Community Shield equivalent - for the second season in a row.

  5. Bayern Munich win DFB-Pokalpublished at 19:43 British Summer Time 22 May 2016

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola signed off with a second German double in his three years at the club.

But his side needed penalties to beat Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker in the German Cup final.

Dortmund have now lost in the German Cup final three years in a row - to Bayern in 2014 and 2016 and Wolfsburg in between.

In Scotland, Hibernian beat Rangers 3-2 in an all-second tier final. It was the Edinburgh side's first Scottish Cup in 114 years, remarkably.

Then it all got a bit fighty on the pitch at the end.

But Louis van Gaal's celebrations cut short

Manchester United came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 in extra time at Wembley, despite Chris Smalling becoming the first Englishman to be sent off in an FA Cup final.

It was their first FA Cup since 2004, and their first trophy since Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

But minutes after the final whistle, BBC Sport broke the news that United boss Louis van Gaal is getting the boot this week, with former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho coming in to replace him.

  9. Sevilla going for cup and cup doublepublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 22 May 2016

Sevilla are bidding to replicate their 2006-07 double of the Europa League/Uefa Cup and Copa del Rey.

They have won the European tournament a record three years in a row, coming from behind to beat Liverpool 3-1 on Wednesday.

They have won the Uefa Cup and Europa League as many times in their history as they have the Spanish cup; five.

  10. Barcelona going for league and cup doublepublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 22 May 2016

Both sides are looking to complete a major double of their own this season.

Barcelona pipped bitter rivals Real Madrid last weekend to the La Liga title thanks to a Luis Suarez hat-trick at Granada.

Victory tonight would be their second consecutive domestic double (they won the Champions League last season to make it a treble).

In fact defeat tonight would be the first time Luis Enrique failed to win a major Spanish trophy in his two seasons in charge.

There are plenty of potential talking points about tonight's Copa del Rey final - which side will win a double, can Sevilla handle Barca's front three, can the Andalusians continue their amazing cup final form?

But in Spain a lot of the headlines have been about flags.

The Spanish government banned the pro-Catalan independence Estelada flag from the game at the Vicente Calderon for "operational and security reasons".

Barcelona said it was a breach of human rights and Catalan nationalists announced plans to hand out 10,000 Scotland flags to their fans as a protest.

But a Madrid-based judge agreed with Barcelona's legal appeal and, on Friday, ruled they could wave the Estelada after all.

And now we can just focus on some football.
