Russia have dominated possession. They've also shaded territory. Doesn't matter. After two Russian defensive lapses, Slovakia are in control of the only statistic that really counts.

"I'm just not sure what Russia's gameplan is. When they get it wide their crossing's been really poor, and playing through the middle they just look like they're lacking in ideas. The attacks they are having are just petering out."

"Look at the lack of quality from Russia, they lack a cutting edge but Slovakia have been brilliant in their finishing. Russia wanted to defend against England and they don't seem capable of attacking. They don't have a creativity tap they can turn on.

The way Marek Hamsik chopped it from his left to his right, that's so hard to do. Even harder to defend. What a goal."
