  2. 'A massive point'published at 18:05 British Summer Time 11 September 2016

    Swansea 2-2 Chelsea

Swansea midfielder Leroy Fer, speaking to Sky Sports: "We came back strongly with two good goals, it's a good point for us. Chelsea were better in the first half. It's a massive point and we have to get confidence from this game."

People forgetting that Amat and Fer shouldn't have been on the pitch... Fer should have had a second yellow for picking the ball up after no foul and Amat for making 15 fouls (more or less). People calling for Costa to have been sent off need to get their eyes checked. Every time he 'dived' he had been caught by someone, they may have got the ball, but he was still caught so could go down... Stop with the bias!

  4. 'Huge disappointment'published at 18:03 British Summer Time 11 September 2016

    Swansea 2-2 Chelsea

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta, speaking to Sky Sports: "It's a huge disappointment because we had control of the game for most of the time. We came here to get three points and to go away with one is disappointing.

"The second goal is a clear foul on Gary Cahill. The spirit of the team was very good. Diego Costa's work is reflected in the game. When he is scoring goals we are doing the right things."

I think Chelsea will be the unhappier, they will feel they should have gone on and won with all the chances they had. A great second half and a wonderful spectacle from the Premier League.

No excuses from referee Andre Marriner. He could see it was a dive by Diego Costa and he should have been sent off. Then, would you believe it, he pops up with the equaliser.

Swansea will have mixed feelings after that, I'm sure that they would have taken the point before the game - and especially at half-time - but when they were leading they would have hoped for all three.

Charles Kahanji: The pace for this #SWACHE, external match is insane

G Webster: I am not a Chelsea fan but have to admit Costa is a great asset to the Premier League. Love the controversy.

Lotak: What a brilliant, brilliant game of football (for the neutral). Wouldn't have expected that at half time.

Oh! Cesc Fabregas has hands on Ki in the area, the Swansea man goes down - no penalty!

The right call I reckon. But more drama.

It has been an end-to-end second half and I still fancy someone to nick a winner.

That 'high foot' rule seems particularly inconsistent in its application doesn't it?

Swansea now attacking, good feet from Fernando Llorente out wide, hesitation from Messrs Terry and Cahill and Leroy Fer nips in, he finds Gyfli Sigurdsson - blocked!

There could well be a winner to come - for either side...

    Thoughts on Costa.....

Greg Wingham: As nailed on as water being wet, Diego Costa scores the equaliser when he shouldn't even be on the field.

Don Uorri: surely Costa's goal should be disallowed for dangerous play - high foot?

Arthur Graham-Dixon: That's another boot to the face. How are these not fouls? Koscielny and Costa - neither are valid goals.
