    From gun to tape?

Manchester City's 100% record takes them four points clear of the rest and it may be that the chasing pack never regain that ground.

It is a crowd scene behind the leaders with two points separating the next four teams and Arsenal playing Chelsea in 30 minutes time.

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City defender on Final Score

Some managers decide not to have a man on the post and it's cost Stoke here. Because grappling has been outlawed they look vulnerable at set-pieces. They need to put this rule change out their heads and just go and attack the ball.

  17. 'Stoke have blown it'published at 16:50 British Summer Time 24 September 2016

    Stoke 1-1 West Brom

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

Explain to me why Stoke don't have a defender on the back post when defending a corner? Put a man there and you can just head that ball away.

Now defenders can no longer grapple in the area it's even more important to defend at the posts.

It was about closing the game out - concede nothing and Stoke would have won the game. Now they've blown it.
