At the end of the day if you like football it was a great game to watch. Hull City showed a bit of character, they kept fighting and they tried to do the right things. But they got beat by a better team.

Liverpool's is the performance of the day - well worth a watch on Match of the Day tonight. They have destroyed Hull. Only one team was ever going to win this.

It doesn't get much more emphatic than that. Liverpool were miles better from start to finish. Klopp's men march on.

Dan Fookes: Has Danny Mills not spotted Liverpool have already beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester? Unless by big teams, he meant Burnley.

It is a sub-fest. Emre Can and Marko Grujic come on for Philippe Coutinho and Jordan Henderson for Liverpool. Hull take off Ryan Mason and send on Markus Henriksen.

Looks like Daniel Sturridge is going to see some action. He is stripped off and ready to rock.

Is there a less desirable on-field role in football than the one currently being performed by Abel Hernandez? He is taking lone striker to the extreme degree.

Coutinho hits the free-kick into the wall and wins a corner. The home side have had 12 of them now. They waste this one, though.
