I think once the referee decides it's handball he has no option but to send the player off. If you look Elmohamady leans into it and he doesn't have any complaints. It's the right decision from the referee. Liverpool are tearing Hull apart at the moment.

Liverpool are going to score boatloads here. Sadio Mane's shot from the edge of the box takes a deflection and strikes the crossbar. From the resulting corner, the same player fires another shot just a yard over.

Ahmed Elmohamady is shown a straight red. Hull are going to have to survive what was already a one-sided encounter with just 10 men.

This could be game over. Philippe Coutinho's shot from Firmino's pull-back is blocked on the line by Ahmed Elmohamady. He used his hand to do it as well, which can mean only one thing...

It is not just when Liverpool have the ball, they are just as effective without it. Hull's players are being hunted down and dispossessed before they can think. I don't think the away side have strung three passes together yet.

Liverpool's front players are leading Hull a merry dance. Roberto Firmino finds Adam Lallana and his cross looks like it is going to be buried by James Milner at the back post before Robert Snodgrass gets back to head behind. The corner comes to nothing.

Liverpool are totally and utterly dominant.

Liverpool's front five are really fluid. It wasn't a crisp finish from Adam Lallana but that doesn't matter. The build-up to the goal was slick, and Liverpool look really threatening.

David Melton: LFC will win the title this year because Klopp has had almost a season at Liverpool, Pep & Mourrinho have only just started.

Ragnar Klavan has had pretty much nothing to do so far but his error nearly gives Robert Snodgrass an opportunity. The defender dwells on the ball and is charged down by Abel Hernandez but after the loose ball arrives at his feet, Snodgrass' poor touch allows the ball to roll out for a goal-kick. Karius remains saveless for the match so far.

Jurgen Klopp's side are leading but he is not satisfied. He is wildly urging them forward. Pity the man who thinks he can rest for a second in this side.

A good, good goal. Coutinho, right on top of it, fires the ball into the bpox and Lallana can turn it home. He rifled it past the keeper and it was a great finish but that was thanks to Coutinho, a great player.

Milner goes into the book for a lunging tackle on Robert Snodgrass. Two ex-Leeds players coming together and the former was maybe slightly off the ground in the tackle.

Left-back Milner and Clyne, on the opposite side, are joining the attack at every opportunity. They have spent more time in Hull's half than their own.

All Liverpool so far. They are dominating possession and Hull are having to dig in.

Big chance for Philippe Coutinho. Sadio Mane finds space in the box to put over a low cross to Brazilian, who is eight yards out with the goal at his mercy but stabs at it with his right foot when swinging through it with his left to bury it would have surely brought a goal. His effort limply dribbles towards the goal before being hammered clear.
