Some news from the Premier League - as Wales boss Chris Coleman is among the candidates Hull City want to take their vacant managerial position following Steve Bruce's resignation.

Coleman, 46, guided Wales to the Euro 2016 semi-finals a month after signing a new two-year contract with the Football Association of Wales.

"We have had no contact whatsoever from the club regarding the speculation," said a FAW spokesman.

"All talks with Chris have been on how we can move forward after Euro 2016."

Bruce left Premier League new boys Hull after a breakdown in his relationship with vice-chairman Ehab Allam.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 30 July 2016

    Real Madrid 3-0 Chelsea

The Chelsea players might have been keen to see that half brought to a close quickly - but they won't be relishing facing Antonio Conte. He'll be furious.

Not long to go now. One minute of stoppage time.

Oscar, perhaps inspired by Mariano Diaz, has a blast from about 35 yards. The outcome is nowhere near the same as the ball dribbles into Kiko Casilla's hands.

Real Madrid are knocking the ball around confidently. Chelsea just want to hear the half-time whistle.

Not sure what has got into Pedro tonight. He's an angry young man. Maybe he's just found out that his neighbour hasn't been round to water his favourite plant while he is away and it has died. Or maybe it's just because the former Barca man hates Real Madrid.

He's already on a booking and flies into another meaty challenge. Tightrope.

Mariano Diaz. Surely now the greatest Dominican footballer of all time. Just after that one goal.

    Mariano Diaz

Pick. This. Out! Mariano Diaz - the Dominican Republic's finest export since sugar - smashes in a wonderful third for Madrid. He's a full 30 yards out, belts one more in hope rather than expectancy... and it whizzes over Asmir Begovic.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:38

    Real Madrid 2-0 Chelsea

Remember the days when you almost had to commit a criminal offence to be booked in a pre-season friendly? Not any more.

Pedro isn't known for his tackling prowess and mistimes a lunge as he tracks back. The yellow card is wafted in his face, despite minimal contact.

Chelsea are in danger of sinking quick. Asmir Begovic has been the busiest man on the pitch. The Blues keeper has to be alert again, going low to his left to push away Casemiro's stinging drive.

    Marcelo (26 mins)

Stick him up front! Marcelo bags his second of the evening - and it is a belter.

The Madrid left-back pounces on an error from young Chelsea defender Ola Aina, then it is all about him.

The Brazilian slaloms through a few half-hearted challenges, tucking in past Asmir Begovic.

Quite spicy is this match. Not quite on the scale of a vindaloo. Probably not a madras. Maybe a balti.

A few more strong challenges are put in by Chelsea players, prompting the referee to have another stern word. Cards might be coming out soon.

Madrid free-kick. Raphael Varane's header is blocked by Asmir Begovic, then Marcelo shoots well wide. He's gone all Roberto Carlos on us.

    Man Utd 5-2 Galatasaray

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini: "We did a job, we won and created chances in the second half. The pressure and accuracy in the first half was not good enough but the manager said something at half time and we were much better.

"We know United have a lot of supporters, you can see that in Sweden too."
