Bristol Rovers 0-1 Bolton
Bolton have made an excellent start to life in League One and they've made a fast start at Bristol Rovers too.
Josh Vela has fired Wanderers in front from a tight angle, with Southend boss Phil Brown describing it as "counter-attacking football at its best" on BBC Radio Manchester.
Newcastle 0-0 Reading
Newcastle's energetic start to this game continues.
Vurnon Anita went rampaging down the right side for the hosts before dinking a ball inside to the penalty box.
Ayoze Perez arrived at pace on the volley, but couldn't direct it on target.
Barnsley 1-0 QPR - Watkins (4 mins)
Early lead for Barnsley in their meeting against 100% QPR at Oakwell.
The visitors fail to clear a couple of headers from a Barnsley corner and Marley Watkins is there at the back post to nod in from six yards.
Quote MessageQPR had started quite brightly but they didn't defend the initial cross into the box or the following corner. Watkins was unmarked in the box and that is criminal.

Newcastle 0-0 Reading
Dwight Gayle can have no argument with that on second glance.
He went diving in for a header from Ayoze Perez's cross, but had his left arm fully outstretched as he made contact.
Ali Al-Habsi raced straight to the officials in protest. Gayle picks up a booking in the process.
Quote MessageGayle was never getting to it, so he put his left arm just behind his head and pushed it in with his hand. It's cheating.

Newcastle 0-0 Reading
Early drama at St James' Park.
Newcastle thought they had the lead inside two minutes through Dwight Gayle. He runs away in celebration, but it's been disallowed for a handball as he rose to head it home.
Relief for Reading and Jaap Stam.
They've gone a minute early at Newcastle, but we're off and running in tonight's three Championship games.
Let drama commence....

Rafa's ready for the off, are you?
It's not just Newcastle who are finding life in a division below tricky to adjust to - Aston Villa's start to the season has yielded one loss, one win and one draw.
Villa boss Roberto di Matteo says they need to time to turn around their fortunes.
"We're a work in progress. The players that have come in need to understand how we want to play," the Italian told BBC WM after seeing Huddersfield snatch a point off them on Tuesday.
"It's going to take time, but it's a shame because I thought we deserved a bit more [against Huddersfield]."
Just the three Championship games this evening, but nine fixtures in the division on Tuesday threw up their fair share of late drama.
There was injury-time woe as both of the second city's clubs conceded late equalisers while new boys Burton pulled off a shock win against fancied promotion chasers Sheffield Wednesday.

Just the five games on the bill this evening with the pick of the fixtures arguably a meeting of Rafael Benitez and Jaap Stam at St James' Park.
It's won one, lost one so far in the Championship for the former Manchester United defender and his new club.
Can he claim a big scalp tonight for Reading on the road?

Things I didn't think I'd be writing on 17 August: A city in the north east of England eagerly awaits its football club's first win of the season.
It wasn't supposed to be this way for Newcastle United in the Championship.
But this evening they face the prospect of losing their first three games of a league season for the first time since 1999 when Reading come to Toon.
Is Rafael Benitez finding there's more to contend with in the Championship than he originally thought?
