Mario Fernandes strides down the right wing before cutting inside and then sending a shot just wide of the far post. Tottenham need to keep their concentration because the home side are just managing to find a couple of backs at the back.

"I think that it is a good choice, putting on another midfielder in the shape of Andy King. Leicester were getting overrun in there."

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:24 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

    Leicester 1-0 Porto

Andy King comes on for Leicester, replacing Islam Slimani, who gets a huge standing ovation after scoring what is looking increasingly likely to be the match winner.

If you have been on this page from the very beginning the first of all, thank you. Second of all, you might remember my opening entry mentioned Leicester playing Lincoln at home in the JPT Trophy almost eight years ago to the date. King played in that game.

    CSKA Moscow 0-1 Tottenham

    John Southall
BBC Radio Five Live football reporter

"Tottenham have got to be careful. CSKA Moscow have just upped the tempo in the last few minutes.

There is a section of the CSKA fans who are going shirtless. In this temperature that is just sheer madness!"

    CSKA Moscow 0-1 Tottenham

Into the final 10 minutes and CSKA Moscow are just turning up the pressure a bit as Roman Eremenko cuts in from the left and lets fly with a shot that Hugo Lloris needs two bites of the cherry to keep it under control.

  9. CLOSE!published at 21:17 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

    Leicester 1-0 Porto

Almost the curse of the live text commentator there as Hector Herrera rattles off a fierce drive from 35 yards. It's heading for the bottom corner but Kasper Schmeichel dives at full stretch to push behind.

  10. Postpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

    Leicester 1-0 Porto

Not much happening at the King Power Stadium but the Leicester fans are having a right old party in the stands.

Leicester look comfortable, and the home supporters are enjoying their first taste of Champions League football in the Midlands. Fifteen minutes to go.

Real Madrid are back in front against Borussia Dortmund.

Striker Karim Benzema is unmarked at the back post and strikes the post and crossbar and the ball falls invitingly into the path of Raphael Varane who slots home.

Copenhagen now have a third against Club Brugge.

    Son Heung-min (72 mins)

The breakthrough! And it is that man Son Heung-min who gets it but with a big helping hand from CSKA Moscow keeper Igor Akinfeev.

Erik Lamela squeezes a pass through the hosts' defence, Son is just onside and he shoots, Akinfeev takes the sting out of it but the ball squirms past him and trickles into the net.

    Advantage Spurs.

Tottenham very much on top but still no goals in Moscow. Mauricio Pochettino decides a change is needed so off goes Vincent Janssen and on comes Georges-Kevin N'Koudou.

Moments later, Spurs have a chance, but it isn't the substitute. Erik Lamela's shot deflects wide.

All over at Dinamo Zagreb, with still an hour to play. Argentine striker Paulo Dybala smashes in the third for Juventus.

Meanwhile in Leicester's group, Danish side Copenhagen lead Club Brugge 2-0 through a Stefano Denswil own goal and Thomas Delaney.

  15. England 'a laughing stock'published at 21:06 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

England are the "laughing stock of world football" following manager Sam Allardyce's departure after only 67 days, says former captain Alan Shearer.

It follows a newspaper investigation claiming Allardyce offered advice on how to "get around" rules on transfers.

"I'm angry, I'm sad, I'm staggered at the misjudgement from a guy who said this was his dream job," the ex-England striker told BBC Radio 5 live.

"It's incredible and a catastrophic misjudgement by Sam and his advisers."

  16. Allardyce situation 'sad'published at 21:04 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

FA chairman Greg Clarke has been speaking to Sky News about Sam Allardyce's departure, saying it is "a sad situation".

"I don't think it is embarrassing, I think it is rather sad," he said. "You have a manager who is doing a good job for the national team but makes some unguarded comments which leads to a situation where his job is no longer tenable, that is sad.

"Sam was recruited in the right way, all the things that came out happened after he joined us so we could not have found them in due diligence."

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

Porto roll the dice. Andre Andre and Adrian Lopez off, Hector Herrera and Diogo Jota on.

Vincent Jansson wants a penalty. He looks to shoot inside the box and appears to have his heel clipped before he can make contact. Having seen the replay, he has a case.

    Leicester 1-0 Porto

Leicester pressing, their best spell of the second half. Riyad Mahrez tries to get down the right of the Porto box, but his cross is cut out. It's getting niggly. The ref will need a new pea in that whistle.

He was linked to Arsenal in the transfer window but moved to Sevilla instead and Wissam Ben Yedder has given the La Liga side the lead against Lyon.

Sevilla, of course, have won the Europa League for the last three seasons so may want to finish third in Group H.
