    Ipswich Town man-of-the-match Grant Ward told Sky Sports: "I think both sides will be satisfied. Norwich are a top side and will be pushing to go up so it's a good point."

    Norwich City midfielder Wes Hoolahan added: "A sloppy goal killed our momentum and they were unlucky not to get three points but we'll take a good draw."

    Ipswich shaded the game. Norwich hit the post through Whittaker but didn't do enough in forward areas.

    Ipswich had more energy, they were more direct.

    We want a winner in these games, but in the end, we've got an unsatisfactory draw.

    So after a game which promised so much in a scintillating first half, delivered a little less than expecting in the second. Still, Ipswich fans may look to the early mistake from the officials to rule out Jonathan Douglas' goal for offside, but on the balance of play a draw is certainly right.
