    FT: St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

Leigh Griffiths denies he deliberately dived in the first-half incident in which he was booked.

He told BBC Radio Scotland:"It wasn't a dive. I felt contact. Craig Thomson has reffed a lot of our games before and he said to me 'I have never seen you dive' and I said 'Why have you booked me?'

"I thought it was very harsh but we got the three points and we will take that back down the road."

    St Johnstone 2-4 Celtic

Celtic move top of the league - possibly only for a few hours - with victory at McDiarmid Park.

First-half goals from Leigh Griffiths, Scott Sinclair and James Forrest looked to have put the visitors on easy street, but Danny Swanson's penalty and Steven MacLean's close-range finish made it more nervy than it had to be for the champions.

However, Ryan Christie ensured Celtic left with the points with a fourth in stoppage time.

14 goals in four matches for Brendan Rodgers' side, although they continue to leak more goals than the Celtic boss would like.

The ball drops to the midfielder on the right hand side of the box, he gives the keeper the eyes before placing the ball into the net at the keeper's near post.
