    So then.

Did Nathaniel Chalobah mean that backheel?

    What do you HONESTLY think?

A goal deserving of this game. It's been an incredibly open match.

Remember what we have said about Italian managers in the past? It hasn't been the case at all because this is as open game as you're likely to see today.

And If that was deliberate by Nathaniel Chalobah in the build-up to the goal then you have to say it's a piece of brilliance.

Well you feel it was about to happen at some stage. It was all a little bit too easy...

It was an emphatic finish in what has been an emphatic Chelsea performance from start to finish today.

Very strong, very composed. This has been the most comprehensive win I've seen so far against Leicester this season.

And with the game wrapped up, Chelsea make a pair of changes.

Victor Moses and Eden Hazard make way for Ruben Loftes-Cheek and Ola Aina, who makes his Premier League debut.

GOAL - Chelsea 3-0 Leicesterpublished at 80 mins

    Victor Moses

Now. If Nathaniel Chalobah has intended to pull off this backheel pass - it's an absolute blinding bit of play.

Victor Moses plays the ball inside to Chalobah on the edge of the area, and the midfielder stamps down his right foot and clips the ball back into the path of Moses with his heel.

Moses applies a lovely finish to beat Kasper Schmeichel at his near post.

    Chelsea 2-0 Leicester

Here's something you don't see regularly - Nemanja Matic skipping through a defence like a newborn lamb.

He avoids a series of tackles on the edge of the Leicester area and his shot wrong-foots Kasper Schmeichel, who recovers to touch it around the post.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa is one booking away from a suspension, so would miss the Manchester United game next week if he gets a yellow card.

Maybe that's why he was having a pop at the bench - even he can't trust himself to not get booked in the last 15 minutes.

It's interesting being this close to Claudio Ranieri here at Stamford Bridge.

There is frustration on his face as he looks to the sky - perhaps at the footballing gods?

    I'd give you 6,000-1 - I'm feeling generous.

The inevitable almost happened - N'Golo Kante almost scored against his former club.

The Frenchman wins the ball and gives to Diego Costa, who pulls it back from the by-line, and Konta's low shot is brilliantly blocked by the outstretched foot of Wes Morgan.

Chelsea still a threat but first and foremost, their priority is hanging onto this lead.

    Chelsea 2-0 Leicester

N'Golo Kante wins a trademark midfield battle and finds Chelsea team-mate Diego Costa.

Costa looks so sharp as he drives forward, gives it to Eden Hazard, receives it back and can't make room for a shot.

And now the Spaniard is having a right go at the Chelsea bench - it looks like he wants to come off.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 65 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Leicester

It's almost a role reversal this half as Chelsea sit deep in their own penalty box and allow Leicester to try and work a way through.

And they almost do as David Luiz prods the ball against his own post from a Marc Albrighton cross.
