Leicester need to take stock and start containing Chelsea and then they can start to look forward themselves. But Claudio Ranieri will be relived it's only 2-0 because it could be a lot worse than that. 

Half-time and it's been difficult viewing for Leicester fans.

But it's been candy for the eyes for Chelsea's contingent.

Diego Costa picks the ball up deep and leaves three Leicester players for dead - he's moving really nicely the Spaniard.

He tries a one-two with Eden Hazard to get into the area but it doesn't come off.

Leicester forward Ahmed Musa has his 14th touch of the game 45 minutes in - it's a header on the edge of the Chelsea area that dribbles harmlessly wide.

Eden Hazard is just ridiculously good when he's in this kind of mood.

He could pop up anywhere and this time he springs from the left flank to cut inside and hit a right-footed shot - but it's blocked.

David Luiz fancies another go at a 20-yard free-kick for Chelsea, this time from the right side.

It's a firecracker of an effort but right down the throat of Kasper Schmeichel, who takes no chances and pounds two fists behind the ball to get rid.

Marc Albrighton has a couple of chances to swing in corners for Leicester.

The first is decent and Marcos Alonso gets himself in a muddle defending it, but escapes unscathed.

Thibaut Courtois makes his first meaningful contribution of the game by punching away the second.

Leicester create their best opening of the game. If we can call it an opening.

Luis Hernandez drives the ball in low from the right and Jamie Vardy can't make contact at the near post.

Johnny Magrinho: What has happened to Leicester's defence? What a horrible goal to concede. They were amazing last year. What's going on? 

Daniel Hodson: Comedy goal from both defensive and attacking point of view. Defender pulling out of winning ball. Then lucky break for Chelsea. 

Tom Seagrim: That's the type of goal that gets the FIFA controller chucked across the room.

Chelsea 2-0 up, and the next goal was always going to be important. That move started with Thibaut Courtois and David Luiz and Chelsea zipped the ball through the middle. Those two players celebrated with each other and they played a role in it. 

I think Chelsea are enjoying this so far. Leicester have simply not used their pace in this game so far really. If Chelsea score another goal it could really go pear-shaped for Claudio Ranieri. At the moment they are really under the cosh and just need to hang in the game. 

Worryingly for Leicester, they had a couple of opportunities to deal with the ball before that goal.

They failed miserably.

Hazard is on FIRE. When he is playing like this, he shows he has bags of ability.

David Luiz could have dislocated his left shoulder as he landed there! 

He is entertaining to watch, we'll give him that.

Just in case we forget about him, David Luiz challenges for a ball at the back post and falls awkwardly. He looks in pain.

The subsequent free-kick for Chelsea is 20 or so yards out, slightly to the left, and David Luiz hits it with the side of his boot and it slaps into the top of the left post.

Great effort.

Chelsea have had 70% possession so far, just in case you needed a number to back up the anecdotal pattern of this game.

To be fair though, Leicester are looking more composed and are defending the edge of their area better.
