There was a lot of talk before the game about how Ahmed Musa and Jamie Vardy could get at David Luiz and Gary Cahill in the Chelsea defence.

The only thing Luiz and Cahill should get at the moment is a deckchair - leisurely stuff for the pair.

Dan Vitran in Leicester: To all the Leicester bashers, some perspective please! To be fair we have had Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea away, Arsenal at home and two early lunchtime kick-offs as an away side. We have not had kind fixtures for the start of season.

Leicester have conceded a league-high five Premier League goals from corners this season - that ain't going to help you defend a Premier League title.

Leicester are so deep that Chelsea's screening midfielders - Nemanja Matic and N'Golo Kante - have the freedom to pop up on the edge of the Foxes area.

Here's Kante clipping a ball into the area and Eden Hazard is on to it, trying to lift a first-time volley over Kasper Schmeichel - but he mis-times it.

The Blue are battering down the drawbridge.

Chelsea's switch to three at the back is undoubtedly working, and one reason is the width provided by Marcos Alonso (3) and Victor Moses (15).

Alonso in particular has been a menace down the left, he's been almost the furthest player forward for the hosts so far.

We've just checked the stats here - 14 minutes in and Ahmed Musa has not touched the ball.

Diego Costa might not be everyone's cup of tea (or coffee.. sorry), but the stats say it all.

In just 62 PL games for Chelsea, the Spaniard has had a hand in 50 goals (39 goals, 11 assists).

It is early days but it looks like it's going to be a long afternoon for Leicester.

Chelsea have had a wheat-based biscuit breakfast this morning for sure.

Eden Hazard releases Marcos Alonso down the left and the wing-back drives it in low across the six-yard box. Marc Albrighton scurries it behind and Leicester deal with the corner.

Relentless from the home side.

Danny Drinkwater bops this corner away, but Leicester are ragged right now.

N'Golo Kante picks up the ball for Chelsea and heads towards the edge of the area before slipping in Pedro, but the Spaniard can't work an opening.

Leicester have been shoddy from corners this season - they've just conceded another one...

Eden Hazard finds a pocket of space for Chelsea and drives towards Wes Morgan on the edge of the area.

Then he produces something quite unspectacular, clipping the ball on the outside of his foot and slicing it out for a goal kick.

Shot or through ball? Who knows?

A start to the game full of prodding and probing. Leicester, in their all-red away kit, have a chance to pop the ball into the box through Marc Albrighton, but he hits the first man.

Chelsea follow that up with a spell of possession that lasts about three minutes. They still have it...

I've sent the stat hounds on the hunt and they've come up trumps.

Riyad Mahrez last failed to start a Premier League game for Leicester on 17 October 2015 - it ends a run of 36 league starts for the Algerian.

It's the battle of England's two most recent champions - Leicester get us under way at Stamford Bridge.
