That is a brilliant sliding tackle from Nicolas Otamendi on James McClean. The West Brom man found himself with space in the box, but was shut down quickly.

City break now and Sergio Aguero whirls forward to feed Raheem Sterling whose shot is blocked behind for a corner.

Aleksandar Kolarov goes in the book now - a trip as Jonathan Leko breezes past him. He's looked bright since he came on, the 17-year-old. A lovely trick to get past his marker. 

Panic in the City box as a low cross from the left is hacked clear by Nicolas Otamendi - just as his keeper Claudio Bravo was about to dive on it. The away side just about get away with it. 

Much, much better from the Baggies! Can it last?

Definitely a lot more fight from West Brom. Much more pressure on Claudio Bravo when he's got the ball, too. City can no longer play it around at the back as they've been doing. 

But will that lead to more openings up the pitch?

James McClean goes into the book for a terrible challenge on Fernandinho - that's his fourth yellow card in as many games, and his fifth of the season.

What on earth is Bravo doing? He looked like he was coming out to empty the bins!

Terrible from Claudio Bravo! The City keeper very nearly hands the initiative back to the Baggies as he comes to head clear a Chris Brunt through ball that stands up for Salomon Rondon. 

Rondo gets to it before Bravo, and his header is just wide - with the net wide open!

We've seen that before...

OOF! This is late, over the top, and perhaps James Morrison needs to calm down a little. He's just clattered into John Stones - his first involvement since coming on.

It looked like it was going to settle in the far corner, it was an absolute certainty - it was in! 

There was no way Ben Foster could have saved that.

So close! Another one that would have been a Nolito deflected goal - he jumps to avoid Ilkay Gundogan's strike from just inside the box and it clips his heels, spinning out for a goal kick. 

The Baggies and Ben Foster survive again. Something has to give...

It's more of the same. It's all Manchester City as David Silva and Sergio Aguero chip in with some delightful interplay, ending in an Aguero shot deflected over by an increasingly panicked West Brom back four. 

David Silva's shot looks set for Ben Foster's gloves but Nolito gets in front of it, deflecting his fellow Spaniard's effort just wide of the post. Foster was the other way - and Nolito was definitely onside. Would have been his goal... 

But the Baggies live to fight on...

It was a masterclass, I'm not sure Claudio Bravo has had to make a save.

City's passing and movement has been excellent, the running, the understanding, just brilliant.

Very, very good from City, West Brom will have to look to change something, but the problem is if they change their shape it's a risk.

This has been about one team and one player only. Manchester City and Sergio Aguero.

The Baggies have a lot to do.

TWO minutes added on. 

Claudio Bravo booms the ball out of play with a misplaced pass - so off target it's taken down by Pep Guardiola. A definite flash of frustration from the Spanish manager as he shows he's still got a touch.

James McClean's probably been the best West Brom player on the pitch (there's not much to choose from on these performances so far). And here he is showing far too much to Fernandinho, losing the ball when trying a trick.

Salomon Rondon's putting himself about a bit - foul number three in a very short space of time. He's frustrated. Yellow coming?

Loads of space for West Brom out on the right wing again. Lovely ball from Nacer Chadli looking for Gareth McAuley. He can cross first time but there is real bite at the back from City as the challenge crashes in to block. No quarter given.
