Henry Turnton: Aguero must be the best player in the Premier League, just insane ability to be the only player that matters in any game.

Matt Irvine: City showing Spurs that the difference between frustration at West Brom and a win is a half decent striker.

Amit Roy: Aguero on Fire. Great Strike.

The City fans are doing 'Olés!' with every pass - but the passing's so quick they can't keep up!

Oh dear. Gareth McAuley heads back to Ben Foster but it's misplaced, too much on it, poor.

From the corner Ilkay Gundogan plays it into the box, but the Baggies clear and look to break away - there's space out there...

But it falls down with James McClean's poor touch wide right. City looked exposed for a moment. It's just not coming off from the home side.

The fact we're thinking of Sergio Aguero as being out of touch over the past few games speaks volumes. Three games without a goal and it's a crisis.

With these two goals today - taken from his only two shots on goal - he's up to seven for the season.

Irhan AlSirhan: If the reports are true Pep wants Aguero out he doesn't deserve to be a manager.

Ishal Gyawali: Ladies and gentlemen, Sergio Aguero is back!

Sometimes you turn round to your keeper and say, "any danger of you making a save?"

But there's no way any keeper, not even two keepers would save that.

It's a beautiful strike by Aguero.

City are just toying with this now. Nearly 80% of the ball, and two goals up.

How long before Sergio Aguero bags again?

It came from a series of mistakes on West Brom's 18-yard box.

In the end it came to Sergio Aguero, he shifted it onto his right foot and just lamped it into the that top corner. I'd be surprised if Ben Foster even saw it.

But West Brom had three chances to clear that one then.

    Sergio Aguero

It's a fantastic strike from Sergio Aguero, an absolute horror show from the West Brom defence. Jonas Olsson, Gareth McAuley, who's gonna clear it? No-one, as Aguero capitalises on their hesitancy to set himself up for a glorious smash into the top corner from the edge of the box. One touch to set, another to set City well on the path to three points.

How many can they get? They need to win by three to go top again...

Better from the home side. I count at least a dozen passes before a James McClean header at the back stick forces an excellent block in the box.

But on the break City carve West Brom open again. Ilkay Gundogan with the killer pass into Nolito, who looks to lift it over Ben Foster - and does - but there's Gareth McAuley with another brilliant block on the line.

This isn't a good start from the Baggies. Jonas Olsson can let the ball run through to Ben Foster but heads up and away, straight back to City, who are simply dominant.

At the moment the home side are just waiting to see how many they'll lose by.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 23 mins

    West Brom 0-1 Man City

Where's the pressing gone? Fernandinho drives one from range - moving all over the place - and Ben Foster is called into action once again, punching the ball wide for a corner.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21 mins

    West Brom 0-1 Man City

Naughty boy, Jonas Olsson. Charging through the back of goalscorer Sergio Aguero sees him go in the book.

You always feel when Aguero gets in that position at the very least he hits the target.

City were playing at full pace there which completely unhinged West Brom. Three or four passes and they were through.

    Sergio Aguero

So, so easy. Fernandinho has the ball out wide, lays it into Ilkay Gundogan, who just jogs towards goal, head up.

He sees him. Sergio Aguero's darted into space to the left of Ben Foster's goal. There's the pass, effortless control, fantastic, low finish into the net. A crisper strike you will not see.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 18 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Man City

Raheem Sterling drifts inside Darren Fletcher. Carries his run into the box.

There's a lovely clip forward from David Silva, which is headed back out to the edge, Sterling strikes it and forces a brilliant tip wide from Ben Foster.

Then John Stones has a chance at the back stick - but fires wide from close range. Two excellent chances for the away team in under a minute.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Man City

Nolito's going in the book here - there's a little nudge with his head towards Craig Dawson. Not violent, just silly. Very silly. He was sent off a similar thing against Bournemouth earlier this season.

Dawson's got a yellow too - for the foul Nolito took umbrage over.

  18. CHANCE!published at 15 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Man City

Lovely City move. Ilkay Gundogan with a driven, volleyed pass taken up by Sergio Aguero, out wide to Raheem Sterling, whose driven low cross is hacked out by Gareth McAuley. Great defending.

  19. Postpublished at 13 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Man City

As the ball trickles through to Claudio Bravo there's not a West Brom shirt in sight. Tony Pulis looks to have set his side up to press in their half only - don't go chasing it and leave space behind.

City's back three are trying to coax a few Baggies shirts forward with a bit of keep-ball. No-one's biting.

    West Brom 0-0 Man City

John Stones holding off Salomon Rondon as City have to fend off another direct ball forward. They're making very good use of it when they get it, the home side.

City patient. Sergio Aguero's played in over the top but is offside - even still, he fancies carrying on and lays it off to Nolito, who puts the ball in the net. Ben Foster had stopped - the whistle had gone.
