Every time I come to Selhurst Park it amazes me, the fervour of the support.

It doesn't matter how they're doing. It's a delight coming here. 

And Phil Coutinho definitely won't score tonight. He's work is done. Divock Origi is brought on to replace him. Standing ovation from the away fans and rightly so.

Philippe Coutinho has been one of the - if not, the - star performers for Liverpool this evening. Can he cap it with a goal? Doesn't look like it. He links up with Mane again, guiding the ball straight at Steve Mandanda.

More Coutinho magic. He could pull a rabbit out of a hat, this lad. Again he jinks past Palace defenders like they aren't there, only to slightly overhit his cross as several team-mates wait in the box.

Phil Coutinho is trying his best to rack up a few more Fantasy Football points for some desperate managers (I'm one of them). The Brazilian weaves into the Palace box as he cuts in from the left, pinging a low shot that calls Steve Mandanda into action.

Liverpool are prowling for a fifth. Andros Townsend was thrown on to make things happen at the other end for Palace, but is needed on this occasion to muck in defensively.

Liverpool won't go seeking a fifth, certainly.

They will take their chances if they get them, but they will play sensibly for the next twenty minutes.

Liverpool respond to Palace's tactical tweak with a change of their own. Gini Wijnaldum is the man thrown on, providing a bit more midfield steel in place of Adam Lallana.

Palace have to get back into this game - and they have to get back into it quick. Hence Jason Puncheon's introduction. The attacking midfielder was a doubt with a calf injury, but is fit enough to replace Joe Ledley.
