  2. 'A very tough game'published at 22:37 British Summer Time 18 October 2016

    Leverkusen 0-0 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to BT Sport: "I am not disappointed. After the game, I think it is a good point for us.

"It was a very tough game. In the first half we deserved more and in the second they got better, I am pleased with the point.

"In the second half I think they played better than us and started to dominate the game. We need to be positive - it is in our hands to go through to the next round.

"It will be a big test for us in the next game. We need to change the feeling after Monaco (who beat them in their opening game of the group) and show that we can make Wembley our home."

    Leicester 1-0 Copenhagen

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri: "It was a tough match. We knew that very well, it was a strong team, very well organised, very difficult to beat them, but it was good.

"In the first half we played so-so. It was difficult to go through the lines but in the second half was much better.

"When you are playing in the Champions League your mind is more concentrated, you are more focused on the match. You lose something when you play in the league. But I hope we can change this soon. We cannot continue in this way. Our goal is to change our concentration in the Premier League."

And on Kasper Schmeichel's late save: "Kasper is a fantastic keeper, he gives good calm to all his team-mates."

"You need a bit of luck in that kind of action and this time I saved the goal.

    Leverkusen 0-0 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, on BT Sport: "We are pleased with a point. I think we missed chances in the first half and at this level if you don't score it is difficult to win games. Then in the second half the game turned. Leverkusen pressed high and we struggled a bit. I think a draw is a good result for us.

"We did a job defensively together. We were strong in midfield too, they contributed to getting the point. I think we can congratulate everyone. Let's see what will happen in two weeks."
