    Leverkusen 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs are growing. There's loads of space down the right for Kieran Trippier - and his cross for Dele Alli just moments ago shows why there really should not be.

That was their best move of the match, and Alli should have taken it. Encouraging signs though.

    Leicester 0-0 Copenhagen

    Leicester have been poor.

They are being too predictable, bypassing midfield to Vardy and Slimani.

    Copenhagen are the better side.

Robert Huth now has his hands in the air pointing to the battle positions. It really is all Copenhagen here. Another clearance from the Leicester defence sends the ball out for a throw, but it's just another temporary reprieve. Away side on top. Badly.

    Alli had plenty of time.

Maybe he needed to get half an inch higher off the ground. He was totally unmarked and he has to do better.

That is the best chance of the game.

  5. CHANCE!published at 27 mins

    Leverkusen 0-0 Tottenham

Dele Alli has to score here. Kieran Trippier's cross from the right finds him arriving at pace to the penalty spot, but the England man's header is wide!

    Leverkusen 0-0 Tottenham

Charles Aranguiz has the kind of playing style that makes you think he's had worse than this but the Leverkusen midfielder's currently down on the turf nursing his face - he reckons Erik Lamela's caught him with an elbow as the two went up for a ball in the air.

Tottenham are losing the midfield battle at the moment.

Pochettino is having a discussion with Alli, he wants to change something.

    Real Madrid 2-1 Legia Warsaw

My word, blink and you'd miss three goals.

It took 16 minutes for the holders to take control against Legia Warsaw.

Gareth Bale picks the ball up wide right, cuts in on his left foot and shoots low across goal into the far corner. Smiles from the Welshman, who has a first Champions League goal since December 2014.

Less than four minutes pass before Marcelo arrows one in from 18 yards via a wicked deflection and Miroslav Radovic quickly pulls one back from the spot after a clumsy foul by Danilo.

    Leicester 0-0 Copenhagen

Hands to the pump. Wes Morgan issues the rallying cry as he launches himself to clear a cross behind. Corner ball, and Copenhagen will be disappointed with how easy it is to clear, and Federico Santander's tame effort from the edge.

The visitors are having nearly all the of the ball though. It's only a matter of time before it comes back.

    Leverkusen 0-0 Tottenham

Better from Spurs. Some great work from Erik Lamela to win the ball back in midfield, the ball's swept out stage right, but Kieran Trippier fluffs his lines with a poor cross.

Hakan Calhanoglu caught Victor Wanyama with a very late challenge in the build-up and is booked.

Even possession-wise at the Bay Arena, but Spurs have not had too many chances to get into the opposition area yet.

    Leicester 0-0 Copenhagen

Another decent chance for Leicester this - Jamie Vardy turns on the edge of the box and strikes fiercely against the legs of Copenhagen's Mathias Jorgensen. Corner ball, but it's cleared easily.

    Leicester 0-0 Copenhagen

Leicester City being starved of possession as Copenhagen spray the ball around nicely. The Foxes though won the Premier League last season without monopolising the ball. The Danes have very much been on top, but the Premier League champions are gradually getting into this match.

A lovely flick across goal from Riyad Mahrez looking out for Islam Slimani is too long and when the cross comes back in from the left it's far too easy for Copenhagen keeper Robin Olsen to claim.

But signs of encouragement for the Leicester faithful. Looks like they're slowly waking up.

    It is quite breathless.

This is a very, very, slick surface. The ball is zipping around so quickly and that is why there have been a few miscontrols as well.

Every time Spurs do manage to work it up to Vincent Janssen it's come back soft, so far. Not unrelated is the fact Charles Aranguiz and Kevin Kampl are constantly snapping at the Tottenham striker's  heels.

    Leicester 0-0 Copenhagen

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at The King Power Stadium

Stodgy start here at The King Power Stadium by Premier League champions Leicester City. Copenhagen are looking very controlled and composed and there have been one or two moments of uncertainty at the back for The Foxes.

Claudio Ranieri's side just need something to lift a slightly anxious home crowd.

  19. Goals elsewhere...published at 20:00 British Summer Time 18 October 2016

As you may expect, Real Madrid are dominating Legia Warsaw in the Spanish capital but it's the away side who have gone closest, Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe striking the foot of the post.

Elsewhere in the group Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has put Borussia Dortmund one to the good at Sporting Lisbon.

In Leicester City's group Club Brugge lead Porto.

Everything's going through Thomas Delaney. The Copenhagen captain is lying deep, picking the ball up and pin-pointing it out to the flanks. They clearly think the Leicester defence can be tested from crosses.

Wes Morgan versus Federico Santander is going to be a titanic battle. The Paraguayan striker is a real unit.
