Blaise Matuidi has given Paris St-Germain the lead late on in the first half in Basel. As things stand, both them and Arsenal go into the last 16.

Eduardo Salvio scored a penalty just before the break to put Benfica 1-0 up against Dynamo Kiev.

Atletico Madrid (at home to FC Rostov) and Bayern Munich (at PSV) are both drawing 1-1. Victories for both sides would take them both through.

I am amazed it is 1-1.

In the first 15 minutes, City came out really well and they were unfortunate not to get a penalty, but then their discipline went defensively. It was schoolboy defending for the goal they conceded.

But the last 10 minutes, City come back into it and there is everything to play for in the second half.

If you want to read anything into the average positions of both sides it's safe to say Ludogorets Razgrad's tactics are to soak up the pressure and catch Arsenal on the break. It was working until Arsenal's comeback.

Just when it was starting to look very bleak for Manchester City, they have been gifted an equaliser by Barcelona.

Great credit must go to Raheem Sterling, who showed such composure to decide against taking on the shot to play in Ilkay Gundogan.

This whole place has suddenly been lifted.

With Borussia Monchengladbach leading Celtic in Germany, Manchester City would find themselves playing catch up in the race for a top-two spot should things stay the same.

They travel to face the German side on 23 November and then conclude Group C at home against Celtic on 6 December.

Virtually as Ilkay Gundogan's equaliser was hitting the back of the net then, Pep Guardiola was screaming at Fernandinho to come to him.

The Brazilian sprinted from the left side of the field, inside the Barca half, fully 60 yards to get detailed instructions from his manager, who did not offer one signal of celebration.

The instruction involved Kevin de Bruyne, who seemed to be getting told to push further forward when Fernandinho relayed the instruction.

    Sensational composure from Sterling!

That was a Barcelona goal - City made the right decision and didn't panic.

The easy thing there for Sterling would have been to take the shot.

Barcelona threatening to score with every attack now. First Lionel Messi pulls a cross back for Luis Suarez to head wide - the cross was a touch behind the former Liverpool man - and Suarez then gets over again and has a shot well blocked.

It is relentless at times. What a side.
