Faissal El Bakhtaoui runs from the halfway line towards the edge of the Motherwell box from where he shoots. However, the Dundee striker doesn't quite connect with the ball properly and the effort squirts past the post. It's been a quieter second half so far at Fir Park.

Just as it appeared Dundee United would stroll though this game Jordan Thompson fires in a cracking volley from 16 yards out into the roof of the home goal and give the 500 or so travelling supporters hope.
Willo Flood played a pivotal part in United's game plan throughout the opening 45 minutes but arguably it was the Kirkcaldy side who finished the first half the better which should make the second half very interesting indeed!

The only problem is they haven't managed to make that superior pressure count and Saints are unlikely to be so ineffectual going forward in the second half.
