"Dorus de Vries is someone I know very well and knows exactly how I work - building the control from behind.
"Craig Gordon is a very good goalkeeper has done everything he possibly could to adapt to how I like to play.
"It is not about a number one, two or three, it is about having good goalkeepers.
"Dorus knows exactly how I function and it is a chance for him to show his worth and get valuable game time."

Dundee Utd boss Ray McKinnon has confirmed Dutch defender Frank van der Struik will join the club in the next few days. The 31 year old has agreed a one year deal and joins after being released from Willem II in the Dutch top flight.
"He is a Dutch centre half who has played over 300 games in the Dutch premier league. He has good experience. We have done our homework on him. A good defender who can play right sided centre half or full back so gives us good versatility plus his experience so we are looking forward to Frank joining us."

“I feel sorry for Craig Gordon. He resurrected his career. He worked so hard to get back (from serious injury). He had a dramatic season the first season. He was exceptional especially on those European nights. Last year I don’t think he played as well.
"How he reacts now is the key. I would say to him to be ready because who knows how Dorus de Vries is going to play.”

Have Europe's big clubs stitched up the little guys?
Uefa this week announced changes to the Champions League which will see half of the 32 places in the group stage ring fenced for clubs in Europe's top four leagues.
The knock on effect for clubs in smaller leagues such as Celtic, Ajax and Porto is that they have fewer places to fight for when going through the qualification process.
We want your thoughts. Have Europe's powerhouse clubs stitched up their smaller counterparts?
