Northampton Town getting the message loud and clear as that first half came to a close. Manchester United are frail if you put them under pressure and that was the case in the last phase before the break.
Jose Mourinho will be frustrated United did not make the most of all that possession and territory, and the boost of the goal, and now the mood has changed completely around Sixfields.
Northampton 1-1 Man Utd
Who saw that coming when Michael Carrick put Manchester United ahead?
Christian Eriksen (31 mins)
Ah you don't save those! Christian Eriksen lets fly from 25 yards and it's an absolute cannon, straight through the keeper and into the roof of the net. Wooof!

Romero has made an awful mess of that. That should have been dealt with much easier. Although I don't think it's a penalty.
Aaron Wilbraham (45 mins)
Bristol City level at Craven Cottage just before the break courtesy of a lovely dink over the goalkeeper from Aaron Wilbraham.
Callum O'Dowda was the architect with a surging run to the edge of the box before he played in Wilbraham for his second goal in the space of five days.
Northampton 1-1 Man Utd
Another penalty shout for Northampton as Matty Taylor chases a ball into the area, Sergio Romero comes out and makes a hasty challenge - nothing given but that was almost another spot kick!

That's rank poor defending from Manchester United who had plenty of chances to clear it. As soon as United scored they just took the intensity out of the game.
It's been a languid 20 minutes from United, it's lacked tempo because it's almost been too easy for them on the ball. And they have been punished.
Alex Revell (pen 42 mins)
How's your composure Alex Revell? Very, very good! The veteran striker rolls in the penalty. Sixfields as close to eruption as it gets.
Northampton 0-1 Man Utd
The home side have had a good little spell and that's a gift, Daley Blind dives in on Sam Hoksins. Penalty!
Southampton 1-0 Crystal Palace
Charlie Austin in for number two - close! A great save that time by Wayne Hennessey.
Northampton 0-1 Man Utd
Northampton have hit the bar! And that's got the crowd roaring again. Kenji Gorre spins inside Timothy Fosu-Mensah on the edge of the area, flashes in a left-footed shot and Sergio Romero tips it onto the crossbar.

Northampton just have to stay organised, keep their shape and stay in the game.
If they get a chance inside the Manchester United box they have to make the most of it.
Marko Arnautovic (24 mins)
Hull's defence give Stoke too far much space on the edge of the area and they are punished by Marko Arnautovic. The Austria forward cuts inside on his left foot and powerfully strikes it past David Marshall in the Hull goal.
Stoke 0-0 Hull
Ryan Shawcross with a shot on the half volley for Stoke, but the ball is just behind him and he lifts the effort over crossbar
Swansea 0-0 Man City
Manchester City close to the opener again after a flowing move was stabbed towards his own goal by Mike van der Hoorn but it's well saved by Kristoffer Nordfeldt.
Tottenham 0-0 Gillingham
Just 15 minutes gone and Gillingham keeper Jonathan Bond is off injured and replaced by Stuart Nelson. Looked like a groin problem.
Northampton 0-1 Man Utd

The linesman made a really late call for Wayne Rooney there.
Charlie Austin (pen, 33 mins)
It's a fourth goal in a week for Charlie Austin.
The striker, who netted twice against Sparta Prague and once against Swansea in the past two games, has given his side the lead in this one as he sends Wayne Hennessey the wrong way from 12 yards.
Southampton 0-0 Crystal Palace
Martin Kelly fouls Shane Long and Saints have a penalty.
