The Valley looks like a pig sty this afternoon.

Crazy scenes as Charlton host Coventry City in League One.

Both sides' fans have united to protest against the ownership of their clubs today - and the game was stopped in the first minute because a load of toy piggies were chucked on to the pitch.

Leroy Sane is getting the better of Bryan Oviedo every time, the Costa Rican needs some help. This time Sane skips inside and goes down - no penalty given though!

Manchester City have started really well. Everton haven't gotten out of their half yet. Kevin de Bruyne has been involved in everything so far - he is making things happen.

    Man City 0-0 Everton

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live at Etihad Stadium

I think Ronald Koeman has been outfoxed a little bit tactically here. They're hitting a lot of long balls forward under pressure. They were not able to make use of a free-kick in a good position but that did at least take the pressure of the players and give the defenders some respite.

    Manchester City 0-0 Everton

A better spell from Everton after the hosts' bright start ends with Romelu Lukaku slamming a free-kick well over the top. Everton are looking to get joy down the sides of that three-man City defence.

    Joe Allen (8 mins)

He cannot stop scoring! Joe Allen scores for the third Premier League game in a row with a close-range header after Marko Arnautovic picked him out with a cross from the left.

An unlikely goal hero. Keeps on going. He scored for Wales last week too...

    Stoke 0-0 Sunderland

It's been Sunderland with the better start, certainly more of the ball, but there have been no real chances yet.

    Arsenal 0-0 Swansea

Early pressure from Arsenal in the early stages at the Emirates. They have fashioned one clear chance as well with Nacho Monreal's low cross falling to Mesut Ozil in the box but the German fluffs his shot.

  10. 'Wing backs are actually wingers'published at 15:04 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Man City 0-0 Everton

    Martin Keown

City are playing three at the back, but you can see already that their wing-backs are really just wingers. It shows their intent to just go out, dominate and win the game. Pep Guardiola's side are on the front foot. The thing for Everton will be getting time on the ball in this game. Already it's been City in control of possession.

Cracking start for the Cherries! Junior Stanislas' free-kick from 20 yards strikes the upright and falls for Charlie Daniels, who is able to get over his first-time shot and fire the ball into the roof of the empty net.

    Manchester City 0-0 Everton

Leroy Sane has made a tricky start for Manchester City as he glides past two defenders far too easily and gets in a low cross-shot which Maarten Stekelenburg shovels away for a corner with some help from a defender. He's got a lazy style of movement which makes him deceptively fast.

    Martin Keown

Sometimes it can be difficult against your former team-mates. You talk to them a little beforehand, say hello to the backroom staff. But John Stones' transition into this team has been rapid. In fact it's been so seamless you almost forget now he played for Everton!

It does indeed look like Manchester City are playing three at the back with Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling as wide midfielders. I think wing-backs might be pushing it. Our very own Garth Crooks would approve.

  19. De Bruyne in Aguero top 10published at 14:58 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

Manchester City v Everton (15:00 BST)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

Kevin de Bruyne returns to the Manchester City starting line-up against Everton this afternoon with a ringing endorsement from Sergio Aguero.

Aguero counts Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez and Angel di Maria amongst his Argentina team-mates. At Atletico Madrid he played with David de Gea and Diego Forlan. He has been part of two Premier League title-winning squads at Manchester City.

But of De Bruyne's quality, he has no doubts.

"He is amongst the top 10 of all the players I have played with, no doubt about it," Aguero told today's match programme.
