Matt in Liverpool: Moyes has to go. I've never seen such a directionless Sunderland team with no passion. Moyes has looked clueless.

Ken in Newcastle: If Sunderland can convince the Premier league to award points for the quickest and safest emptying of a stadium they might just stay up!

Daniel from Belfast: Sunderland should sack David Moyes.

You can dress it up as cleverly as you want, Daniel from Belfast is going to cut straight to the heart of the matter.

Watford v Hull City (15:00 BST)

Who do you think are the naughtiest team in the league? And when I say naughtiest, I mean the side who like to hand out a foul or two.

It's Watford. The Hornets know how to mix it alright. They've dished out 137 fouls in the league, which is 14 more than Tottenham.

Hull are a bit of a nice touch on 90. Only four sides have less and Arsenal are the cleanest side in the league on 82.

Hull make three changes from Tuesday night's League Cup win over Bristol City with David Marshall replacing Eldin Jankupovic in goal, Sam Clucas coming back into midfield at the expense of highly-rated teenager Josh Tymon and Will Keane up front in place of Adama Diomande who is serving a three-match ban for violent conduct.

  4. Tears at Sunderlandpublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 29 October 2016

    Sunderland 1-4 Arsenal

There are some confused and somewhat dejected faces among the Sunderland support. One woman appears to be in tears. Yes, that's right, tears.

They go down 4-1 to Arsenal, who sit top of the table now. David Moyes was odds-on to be the next manager to leave his post in the Premier League before the match. What now?

So if you are just joining us, much of the key team news is below. There's a little more to come but the headlines so far are:

    • Arsenal are going top of the table for a while, they lead Sunderland 4-1
    • Wayne Rooney is on the bench for Manchester United
    • Sergio Aguero starts for Manchester City, Kevin de Bruyne is a substitute along with Vincent Kompany
    • City are six without a win going into their trip to West Brom

The bottom line with Mourinho is he doesn't like losing games. To lose 4-0 at Chelsea, United should never do that. So you can understand why he is grumpy because he doesn't take to losing too well.

They need to be challenging. I think he will make Manchester United better. There have been issues about the formation and Wayne Rooney is a constant talking point.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is so gushing in his praise for his side's fans in his programme notes ahead of the Burnley game that they are more of a love letter, really.

"Never before in my life have I seen such wonderful fans with such unconditional love for their club," Mourinho writes.

"It is easy to support a club when it is winning as many trophies as Manchester United have in the last 25 years but it is something else to keep doing it after three bad seasons and such a bad defeat at Chelsea last weekend. The atmosphere here on Wednesday night against Manchester City was incredible.

"When you see such love and passion up in the stands it also drives the players on."

Wayne Rooney is back. Well, not back in Manchester United's starting line-up. He's on the bench after injury.

Marcus Rashford is fit to start after hobbling out of the midweek Manchester derby with a knock, while right-back Matteo Darmian makes his first Premier League appearance of the season.

Juan Mata captains the home side in the absence of Rooney and Chris Smalling.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche names a familiar-looking team. The 'Ginger Mourinho' makes one change as he goes up against the real Mourinho, striker Andre Gray returns after a four-match ban for making homophobic comments on Twitter.

De Bruyne and SilvaImage source, .

Manchester City under Pep Guardiola have gone from hot to cold but if you want to keep them at bay, two men in particular need to be stifled. Surprisingly Sergio Aguero is not one of them.

City have created 117 chances this season with David Silva (25) and Kevin De Bruyne (24) contributing 49 of them. The nearest to those figures is Kelechi Iheanacho on 11 then Raheem Sterling on nine. The KDB/Silva axis is where to look for creative spark at City for sure, how will they get on with De Bruyne not starting today?

West Brom v Man City (15:00 BST)

West Brom make two changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Liverpool last Saturday. Jonny Evans returns from a one-match ban to replace the suspended Claudio Yacob in defensive midfield, while Chris Brunt makes his first start since recovering from a knee ligament injury, replacing Matt Phillips.

West Brom XI: Foster, Dawson, Olsson, McAuley, Evans, Nyom, McClean, Brunt, Fletcher, Chadli, Rondon.

Subs: Robson-Kanu, Morrison, Gardner, Phillips, Myhill, Galloway, Leko.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola goes to a back three as he makes eight changes from the weakened team that lost 1-0 at Manchester United in the EFL Cup on Wednesday.

Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and David Silva among those to return, but Vincent Kompany - replaced in midweek because he was "tired" - is on the bench, as is Kevin De Bruyne.

Man City XI: Bravo, Otamendi, Stones, Kolarov, Sterling, Gundogan, Fernandinho, Fernando, Silva, Nolito, Aguero.

Subs: Kompany, Caballero, Jesus Navas, De Bruyne, Clichy, Iheanacho, Garcia

    Warning! Warning!

Leicester have Champions League commitments in midweek. They could therefore be a little passive today - the Foxes have lost all three league games directly before Champions League group matches this season.

It's a tricky balance I guess and who wouldn't want to give a largely unexpected European campaign everything?

Claudio Ranieri's side need to offer more domestically this term. They have created 73 chances in the league according to Opta. Only seven teams have made fewer with Hull on 52 the least creative side in the table.

Tottenham make one change to the team which drew with Bournemouth last weekend. Manager Mauricio Pochettino starts with Vincent Janssen, who scored in the League Cup defeat by Liverpool in midweek, with Erik Lamela making way for the Dutch international.

England international Jamie Vardy returns to Leicester’s starting line-up after being named as a substitute for last weekend’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace. Summer signing Islam Slimani is the striker to miss out this week as Vardy partners Shinji Okazaki.

West Brom v Manchester City (15:00 BST)

The Manchester City team contains eight changes from the side which lost to Manchester United in the EFL Cup in midweek. Sergio Aguero is in the side up top again and it looks like City return to three at the back - Aleksandar Kolarov, John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi.

Vincent Kompany - off at half-time because he was "tired" in midweek - is a substitute.

  18. Do United need Carrick?published at 14:03 British Summer Time 29 October 2016

Man Utd v Burnley (15:00 BST)

    CarrickImage source, Getty Images

I'm hearing more and more fuss from Manchester United fans about Michael Carrick's role in the squad. Many seem to think he should start games. He's on the bench again.

Carrick has been used as a substitute once in the league and in the 12 minutes he was on the field he played 28 passes, completing all of them.

Jesse Lingard is nearest to Carrick's 100% accuracy, completing over 92% of his 105 passes this season. He starts.

Look at that image of a wet matchday. Doesn't it warm your heart? A wet October day, top-class football on show and plenty of it. Beautiful.

Wayne Rooney may not be feeling so warm inside, he starts on the bench, as does Michael Carrick.

Andre Gray is a starter for Burnley, he returns after four-game ban for tweeting homophobic messages.
