Manchester City Women manager Nick Cushing tells BBC Radio 5 live sports extra: "We can't hide away from the fact that we could win the league, but there's a game of football to be played.

"I'm well aware that there's a lot of attention on us. It's going to be a special game, but we need to concentrate on performance. That ultimately will give us the best chance of getting a result today."

Chelsea manager Emma Hayes tells BBC Radio 5 live sports extra: "It's always a cliche, but we've not prepared any different to any other game.

"The aim is to win. If we perform, we're capable of that. There's not a lot to separate the teams. We've got to do our best to make sure it goes to the wire."

The Chelsea squad looked focused as they arrived at the Academy Stadium earlier. Here's what they forward Beth England had to say earlier this week:

"We've still got a good chance of going there and causing an upset, regardless of how good their form has been.

"They are a very difficult team to break down. We will have to be patient. It's going to be a big game. We're really excited.

"We've got to respect the fact that they are where they are for a reason - we can't go in all guns blazing.

"But we are good enough as a team. We have proved that we can beat them before. We can give them a good run for their money."

Yeovil sit second after Bristol City went top with a win last night, while Everton are third, but have a game in hand.

Yeovil manager Jamie Sherwood had this to say to BBC Sport before today's game:

"We go into the game with a positive mindset. We've got a good history against Everton over the last couple of years, so it will be an interesting fixture.

"We have got three games to go - three big cup finals. We have to be mentally prepared and focused."

Manchester City have gone on leaps and bounds throughout the season. They've been very consistent at the back, conceding very few goals, and the forwards have been doing the business up front.

If they can win the title today, it would be City's second major trophy since they were founded in 1988, having won the 2014 Continental Cup.

Nick Cushing's side are also chasing a double this season, as they face Birmingham City in the Continental Cup final on Sunday, 2 October.

Could they lift trophies on back-to-back weekends?

Put simply, anything but a win for Chelsea today sees Man City crowned champions.

Chelsea are seven points behind with three matches remaining.

City - who are yet to lose in the league this year - can still win the title even if they lose to Chelsea today, provided they beat Birmingham City in their final match next month - but of course they want to complete the job this afternoon!

Good afternoon, on the day Manchester City Women hope to be crowned English champions for the first time in their history.

The Women's Super League One leaders will win the title if they avoid defeat against second-placed Chelsea this afternoon.

Chelsea, who won the title last year, know a win would not only keep them in the title race but would also guarantee them Champions League qualification for 2017-18.

It's arguably the biggest game of the WSL season - kick-off is coming up at 14:00 BST.
