  3. 'Weary of weakened City'published at 19:32 British Summer Time 26 October 2016

Manchester United v Manchester City (20:00 BST)

Former Manchester United captain Bryan Robson tells the club's Twitter account he is pleased Jose Mourinho has named a strong side.

"I'm really pleased because of the run of results we have had lately," says Robson., external "I think it's a great opportunity for some of those who have been on the bench to prove themselves.

"City have made a lot of changes, Aguero and Silva out. They have weakened themselves but you can never get carried away with that. The kids come in and have something to prove. They are full of energy and have no fear."

  4. EFL Cup a 'total rip-off'published at 19:31 British Summer Time 26 October 2016

I think teams should say what squad they will play on a weekend so you know when buying a ticket.

    It is all wrong.

I feel for the fans, they should know who is going to play in this competition because it is a total rip-off.

  7. 'West Ham have the edge'published at 19:28 British Summer Time 26 October 2016

West Ham v Chelsea (19:45 BST)

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham boss on 5 live Sport

I think Slaven Bilic has played a strong side because he needs to win the game.

West Ham started sketchily and picked up a little. He is the first manager in this round who has picked as near as possible to his first team.

That might be why they have the edge tonight.

  8. Pep looking at Europe?published at 19:26 British Summer Time 26 October 2016

I don't think Guardiola has come here and thought he would win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and EFL Cup in his first season but build a side that will be European champions.

Worst thing about being a footballer?

Jon Hind: The worst thing would be looking at your payslip and not being sure how to read the figure out loud

Andy White: The worst thing about being a footballer...The communal showers urgh! Must remind them of school PE every week!

Gareth Murray: It must be terrible getting waited on and pampered in a 5 star boutique hotel. My heart goes out to Jose.

  10. Big games in Europe tonightpublished at 19:20 British Summer Time 26 October 2016

It's not just cup night in England. There are also high-profile teams in Spanish and German Cup action tonight.

Real Madrid go to unbeaten third-tier side Cultural Leonesa, who you might remember as the team who had a kit like a tuxedo. That's in the first leg of the Copa del Rey last 32.

Bayern Munich host Augsburg in a Bavarian derby in the DFB Pokal second round.

Meanwhile, there's plenty of Serie A action in Italy. Inter Milan, seeking to avoid a fourth consecutive league defeat, are at home to Joe Hart's in-form Torino. Champions Juventus host Sampdoria.

We will bring you updates of those games through the evening.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, what a player at Dortmund but he cannot seem to get into it. Something is not right.

Whether he is off the pace, the Premier League is different and whether Mourinho has looked and thought he isn't up to it.

If he is not going to fit in, he could be on his way soon.

The worst thing about being a footballer

So multi-millionaire Jose Mourinho says living in the top-floor suite of one of the nicest hotels in Manchester is a disaster.

He is unlikely to get much sympathy I would imagine.

Scoring an own goal - that's rubbish

But, maybe, actually being a footballer or a manager wouldn't be all it's cracked up to be.

Working every Saturday for a start. And Christmas. Not seeing your friends and family whenever you liked. Loads of travel. Airports! Everyone hates airports, right?

Aleix Garcia is very talented and Kelechi Iheanacho just scores goals.

I think Leroy Sane will play behind the striker and that is a role he has wanted to play.

It is still a strong Manchester City side.

White Lion Radio: What a joke, Mkhitaryan not even on the United bench. A definite falling out there, fully expect his exit in January.

Stuart Chaplin: Injuries, squad rotation, giving youth a chance & still a mean defence. Puel clearly knows what he's up to!
