Former Manchester United captain Bryan Robson tells the club's Twitter account he is pleased Jose Mourinho has named a strong side.

"I'm really pleased because of the run of results we have had lately," says Robson., external "I think it's a great opportunity for some of those who have been on the bench to prove themselves. 

"City have made a lot of changes, Aguero and Silva out. They have weakened themselves but you can never get carried away with that. The kids come in and have something to prove. They are full of energy and have no fear."

I think teams should say what squad they will play on a weekend so you know when buying a ticket. 

It is all wrong.

I feel for the fans, they should know who is going to play in this competition because it is a total rip-off.

Sunderland are the only team in the top five leagues in England yet to win a game.

Southampton have conceded just three goals in nine matches.

What a job!

I think Slaven Bilic has played a strong side because he needs to win the game.

West Ham started sketchily and picked up a little. He is the first manager in this round who has picked as near as possible to his first team.

That might be why they have the edge tonight.

I don't think Guardiola has come here and thought he would win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and EFL Cup in his first season but build a side that will be European champions.

Bayern Munich host Augsburg in a Bavarian derby in the DFB Pokal second round.

Meanwhile, there's plenty of Serie A action in Italy. Inter Milan, seeking to avoid a fourth consecutive league defeat, are at home to Joe Hart's in-form Torino. Champions Juventus host Sampdoria.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, what a player at Dortmund but he cannot seem to get into it. Something is not right.

Whether he is off the pace, the Premier League is different and whether Mourinho has looked and thought he isn't up to it.

Aleix Garcia is very talented and Kelechi Iheanacho just scores goals. 

I think Leroy Sane will play behind the striker and that is a role he has wanted to play.

It is still a strong Manchester City side.

Has anyone actually seen Henrikh Mkhitaryan in Manchester?
