    Back under way.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Bournemouth 1-1 Sunderland

Bournemouth bring on forward Benik Afobe, who hasn't scored since March. He replaces Jordon Ibe.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Bournemouth 1-1 Sunderland

    Who'd have thought it?

From looking like it would be a pasting, it now looks - and whisper this - that Sunderland could come away with three points.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 45+1 min

    Bournemouth 1-1 Sunderland

    So, so unlucky.

A brilliant Sunderland move ends with Paddy McNair crossing the ball into the area for Duncan Watmore, who pokes in from four yards.

    Assistant flags. Watmore looks sad.

Replays suggest he was two yards offside. Which he was.

    Bournemouth are playing like... Sunderland.

Keeper Artur Boruc comes out to block a cross and then punches away the subsequent corner.

Black Cats' midfielder Steven Pienaar goes into the book for a foul on Jack Wilshere. Wilshere is playing by the way.

David Moyes tries not to show any emotion, sitting upstairs in the Main Stand while he serves his touchline ban, as Victor Anichebe has the strength to hold off skipper Simon Francis and crash in that equaliser. Eddie Howe's brow remains furrowed, and it's the away fans who are making most noise at the moment as the home supporters take out their frustrations on referee Mike Dean.

Howe has, however, made a tactical switch with Jordon Ibe and Junior Stanislas swapping wings.

That's in reference to a tweet that Anichebe "sent" recently.

    Bournemouth 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland are on the attack again. Jermain Defoe dinks one way and another but as he attempts to shoot from 18 yards Simon Francis gets in the way. Annoying that.

Victor Anichebe is not a natural finisher but that was brilliant. At the other end Jordan Pickford has kept Sunderland in the game.

    What a strike!

Jermain Defoe plays in strike partner Victor Anichebe who turns from about eight yards out and smacks an absolute rocket high past Artur Boruc.

    Wow! Football eh?

"Don't worry about a thing, every little thing's gonna be all right," sing the hardy bunch of Sunderland fans who have made the 350-mile journey south. Gallows humour from the Black Cats?

Sunderland have been bright going forward, but Bournemouth have repelled everything the visitors have thrown at them - and the Cherries' speed on the counter-attack must surely be a cause for Wearside worry.

Cherries' Joshua King goes into the book for blocking keeper Jordan Pickford as he was about to kick from his hands.

    Unnecessary.

Gee Em: Surely Moyes is just thinking now what he needs to take from his office come evening.

Tom Shelton: Look at Leicester's run 2 years ago/last season. They've made the impossible possible. Sunderland can do it if they believe .

Scott: If it's the players that let Sunderland down, how will replacing the manager help? Who would be able to turn it round?

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 27 mins

    Bournemouth 1-0 Sunderland

Bournemouth make a mess of things at the back. Jordon Ibe gives away possession on the right, and the ball eventually arrives at the feet of the busy Duncan Watmore whose angled drive is easily saved low by Artur Boruc.

At the other end, Jordan Pickford prevents Sunderland from going 2-0 down by saving a point-blank blaster from Joshua King, who was fed into the area by Junior Stanislas.

Sunderland have been rubbish. Bournemouth are well on top, I just can't see a way out for Sunderland, they are in massive trouble. It would not surprise me if David Moyes goes after the game today. If you stick with him, you are saying we are relegated, which they will be.

    Bournemouth 1-0 Sunderland

    Mark Mitchener
    BBC Sport at Vitality Stadium

Sunderland now look to have made a tactical switch to 4-5-1, with Victor Anichebe moved to the left wing, perhaps to help cut out Adam Smith's surging runs from right-back like the one which led to the goal, and Paddy McNair looking more comfortable as the deepest of a central midfield three.

Sunderland boss David Moyes took his players on a tour of a car factory in midweek. It looks like some of them must still be on it, because it's like they're playing without a full team at the moment. Bournemouth absolutely bossing possession.

  18. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Bournemouth 1-0 Sunderland

Poor Duncan Watmore. He does put in a shift. This time the 22-year-old former Altrincham player powers down the right and fires in a ball along the six-yard area but none of his team-mates gambled.

    Confidence shot?

  19. GOOD STRIKE!published at 19 mins

    Bournemouth 1-0 Sunderland

Junior Stanislas' vicious angled shot kisses the side-netting after he is picked out by Josh King in the area.
