Right, I need a lie down after that one.

But I'm not going to get one, obviously. I'm instead going to put together a match report summing up all that craziness. It's available here.

That would have been too crazy even for this game.

Palace kicked of and went straight on the attack. The ball came to Andros Townsend on the edge of the area but his shot struck the post!

    So close to 3-3!

A great game gets a wonderful, wonderful finale as Ashley Barnes slots home what must surely be the winner in the fourth minute of five in added time.

It was another counter attack from the hosts. Barnes was involved earlier in the move, releasing Berg Gudmundsson on the right and his cross was returned to Barnes who fired gleefully home.

    Amazing stuff.

  6. Zaha the key?published at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

If Palace are going to win this, you feel Wilfried Zaha will be key.

He's been brilliant in this half. Can he unlock Burnley again in what time remains?

  7. History repeating?published at 16:44 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

Not for the first time this afternoon I'm going to have to hark back to the last Premier League meeting between these two in January 2015.

Burnley led 2-0 on that occasion. Final score? Burnley 2 Palace 3.

    Surely not...

No mistake from 12 yards by Christian Benteke.

A slight stutter in the run up sends Tom Heaton the wrong way, and the Belgium striker slots the ball confidently into the bottom-left corner.

    Will they get a winner?

Matt Lowton inexplicably sticks out a hand to block Andros Townsend's cross.

This game has been a belter.

    Christian Benteke to take it...

A great defensive header by Scott Dann denies Burnley another chance.

    Resulting corner comes to nothing.

Palace's Damien Delaney is the next man in the book for a trip on Jeff Hendrick.

Wilfried Zaha is really hitting his straps in this second half.

Another surging run, this time down the left, creates another chance for the visitors, but Christian Benteke is unable to apply the finish.

It's a shooting gallery at the back for the hosts.

Palace win a corner after a concentrated spell of pressure with countless shots fired in on goal, and countless blocks made.

Really entertaining fare on show here.

A half chance for Burnley there. Vokes' through ball picked out Berg Gudmundsson but his attempted pass across goal for the unmarked Hendrick was cut out by Palace's last man Fryers.

    Palace's subs doing the business.

Wilfried Zaha is getting plenty of joy down the right against Jon Flanagan and again he delivers a great cross for Yohan Cabaye, whose shot is charged down.

Stunning introduction off the bench for Connor Wickham. He's scored with his first touch.

Palace had just shuffled their pack by bringing the burly striker on to support Christian Benteke in attack, and he makes an instant impact.

Wilfied Zaha provided the assist after beating his Jon Flanagan with a lovely bit of skill and pace, and Wickham was there to drill home a fearsome shot.

    Game very much on.
