Hull City head coach Mike Phelan was asked this week about his feels ahead of facing David Moyes, who sacked him during his back-room shake up at Manchester United in 2013.

"I have no point to prove. I had a fantastic career at Manchester United. It's not for me to hold any grudges," he said.

"I had 18 years there overall, which is more than most people get. I had experience in abundance at Manchester United and it's up to me to bring that here to Hull."

  6. One for the purists?published at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    Mark Scott
    Match of the Day commentator

"Can you have a six pointer in November?

"This certainly feels like one and both clubs come into it with a spring in their step after much-needed victories last time out.

Victor Anichebe was key to Sunderland picking up their first league win of the season, with his strength and power offering a very valuable extra dimension to their play.

Meanwhile, Robert Snodgrass underlined his importance to Hull's hopes during their success over Southampton, with his earlier than expected return from ankle ligament damage also providing some welcome cheer after the Tigers were hit with more bad news on the injury front.

"This may not turn out to be one for the purists, but given what's at stake it could be compelling viewing."

That'll be a quid please, Mark.

  7. LAWRO'S PREDICTIONpublished at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    Mark Lawrenson
    Former Liverpool defender

I would not say this game is must-win for David Moyes - what he cannot afford to do is be beaten, because everyone recognises that Hull are going to be a bottom-six side and one of the Black Cats' main relegation rivals.

    Prediction: 2-0

Please be aware I'll be operating a swear jar system today, charging a pound for every mention of the words 'relegation six-pointer'.

That was a freebie, by the way.

It's far too early in the season for such talk and all very silly.

Hull make three changes from the starting line-up against Southampton. In from the start come Robert Snodgrass and Dieumerci Mbokani, replacing injured duo Abel Hernandez and Will Keane. Seventeen-year-old left-back Josh Tymon is handed a Premier League debut in place of Harry Maguire as head coach Mike Phelan changes to a flat back four.
