Paul Charles: Week after week it becomes more and more evident Man Utd paid way too much for Pogba. 

Julia Roberts and husband Daniel Moder have been spotted in the stands at Old Trafford today. This second-half hasn't quite been a Hollywood blockbuster but it's certainly had some drama.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan's first real contribution to the game is, well, interesting. His cross would have been a great one if Inspector Gadget was up front for the home side. In the absence of any 80s kids TV detectives, the ball sails a good 50 yards over everyone in the box.

Josh Sims is making a real name for himself this afternoon. He carries the ball from his own half, deep into Everton territory, beating two men, but his square ball to the edge of the box is cut out.

Regardless, he gets an almighty round of applause from the home fans.

Everton send on Gerard Deulofeu for Aaron Lennon.

Here comes the big man. Wayne Rooney replaces Marcus Rashford. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is into the action as well. He impressed in the Europa League midweek and is on for Juan Mata.

West Ham also opt for a change as former Red Devil Ashley Fletcher comes on for goalscorer Diafra Sakho.

Fraser Forster's turn to pull off a superb save as he gets down low to palm away Yannick Bolasie's overhead kick. It wouldn't have counted because of a foul, but the Saints keeper didn't know that.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has had a running dialogue with fourth official Anthony Taylor during most of the second-half. Am pretty sure Bilic thinks his team should have had a penalty and a Manchester United player or two might have been booked.

Bilic has a couple of technical area quirks.

He spends quite a bit of time outside it for a start and then, every minute or so, he bends over as though he has just completed an exacting piece of exercise. No idea what that is all about.

Is it time for this man yet?

Another great chance for Charlie Austin, who is in space as the ball falls to him in the box from a corner, but it looks to catch him by surprise and he fluffs his effort with the goal begging to be hit.

Top drawer from Maarten Stekelenburg. The ball is swung in to the box and met by Charlie Austin, whose header looks destined for the net until the Everton keeper arrives from nowhere to claw the ball away with his outstretched hand. Brilliant.

Most players wouldn't even think of trying to catch David de Gea out with a free-kick. Dimitri Payet is not most players, though. With pretty much every other player expecting a cross, Payet swings an effort towards goal and is only a yard off target.

Free kick straight over the wall and into the sky. I think i could have taken that better than Romelu Lukaku. 

I'm not putting a downer on Lukaku - I think he is a great player. I just think he needs someone playing much closer to him to bring out his best.

Two more chances spurned by Everton. Romelu Lukaku fires a free-kick over the bar before Yannick Bolasie charges into the Southampton half and fires an effort wide from range.

It has been a scrappy start to the second half at Old Trafford. Lots of fouls and breaks in play. Marcos Rojo is the latest offender, catching Diafra Sakho with a high boot.

Soon after, Sakho goes close with a header from a corner, which loops on to the roof of the net.

It's too much to expect Southampton to start the second half the way they did the first - this game has calmed down a bit...

Saints are a lick of paint away from a second. A corner is swung over and falls to Pierre-Emile Højbjerg at the back post. He stuffs Yannick Bolasie out of sight, leaving the Everton man on his behind with some neat footwork, but with Charlie Austin demanding a pull-back he smashes a shot against the post and behind.
