  1. 'Everton have work to do'published at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2016

    Southampton v Everton (16:30 GMT)

    Former Liverpool defender

Everton's performance in last week's draw against Swansea only underlined how much work they need to do.

Yes, the Toffees made a bright start to the season but I don't think for one minute that will have kidded their manager Ronald Koeman about their prospects.

They lacked urgency, and played too many square balls. Everyone seemed to need an extra touch, which makes it easier for the opposition to defend against.

That needs to change on Sunday, because we know how good Koeman's old team are at the back.

Southampton's results have dropped off recently too, but their run of one win in six league games includes draws with Manchester City and Liverpool, so they are hardly struggling.

    Lawro's prediction: 1-1

    Lloyd's prediction: 0-0

  2. 'Man Utd will find a way through'published at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2016

Man Utd v West Ham (16:30 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    Former Liverpool defender

West Ham caved in late on at White Hart Lane last weekend, and they are just not as good defensively as they were last season.

Manchester United have issues too, especially in attack, but although they might make hard work of it, I think they will find a way through.

There continues to be off-field distractions at Old Trafford - like the talk about Zlatan Ibrahimovic's contract for example - and some of what Jose Mourinho is saying about the whole situation strikes me as odd.

I think, ultimately, he is doing it because he does not think United will make the top four. I do think they will win on Sunday, though.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-1

    Lloyd's prediction: 3-1

  3. Injury for De Gea?published at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2016

David de Gea seemed to be in some discomfort during the warm up. It appears to be a problem with his right wrist. He is starting the game but one to keep an eye on.

Manchester United's current record scorer has a stand named after him at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney needs one goal to match Sir Bobby Charlton's 249 for United.

Yet the bizarre thing is Rooney is not held anything like the same esteem by the United support - although with a couple of stands still to be named, maybe one day, the forward's achievement will get official recognition.

Ronald Koeman's defection to the far away, greener hills of Goodison initially seemed to work out well.

By mid-September, Everton were second and his old club Southampton were in the relegation zone.

One win in seven games has seen the honeymoon end and Everton slip back into old habits. So much so that if Southampton win here they will move to within two points of Everton in the table.

Given that it is 20 years to the week since the infamous Ali Dia, external was given his chance at the Saints, I'm practising a George Weah accent and packing my boots for this one…just in case."

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

I can't be alone in having casually thought that West Ham tend to do well at Old Trafford, only to be proved wrong when looking back at results.

Maybe it's because all three of their only wins there since 1986 were famous ones, with winning goals scored by famous players - Jermain Defoe, Carlos Tevez and Paolo Di Canio (with a little help from Fabien Barthez - taxiiiii!).

Making a case for them this time got tougher with Manchester United's impressive win against Feyenoord on Thursday, following another 'one that got away' performance versus Arsenal last week.

Everything points to a home win. A famous one? Over to you Wayne Rooney…, external"

  9. 'He can be a star'published at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2016

    Southampton v Everton (16:30 GMT)

Southampton boss Claude Puel has been explaining why he has handed a Premier League debut to 19-year-old winger Josh Sims.

"He's a good young player. He's played some very good games for the Under-23s.

"He has the maturity and it's a good chance for him."

Bournemouth tried to play the game their way but sometimes that leaves you with the door open when you are trying to get back in the game. That was a very clinical goal from Arsenal.

It's never a 3-1 win Arsenal should be credited with - Bournemouth have chased the game and had a right go and been left wide open.

Five minutes will be added to the 90 but it will not be enough for Bournemouth. Saying that, we probably said the same about Swansea yesterday.

All over. Arsenal break and Mesut Ozil releases Olivier Giroud in the box to pull the ball back from the byline for Alexis Sanchez to finish. Two in the game for the Chilean.

Jordon Ibe is given a chance to drive at the Arsenal defence and he does it well before flicking a pass through for Benik Afobe to chase. The forward went a second too early, though, and is flagged offside.
