    West Ham 0-0 Stoke City

Finally, some life in London. Charlie Adam dances his ample frame through to the edge of the box, but can only fire over. West Ham withdraw Andre Ayew and Maunel Lanzini, with Ashley Fletcher and Edimilson Fernandes coming on.

  2. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Man City 1-0 Middlesbrough

Boro must have had a rocket from Aitor Karanka at the break. They have improved considerably. They have enjoyed almost half of the possession, culminating in the two shots at City's goal. The Blues not managed a single shot since the break...

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke City

If you're wondering why there have been few mentions of this game in London, it's because it has been devoid of action. If we tell you the most exciting thing to happen in the second half is Phil Bardsley trying his luck from 40 yards, you'll get the picture.

    Burnley 2-1 Crystal Palace

Don't want to worry you Burnley fans but... Palace came back 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Sunderland last month. And that's before even mentioning fighting back from the same scoreline in their previous visit to the Turf...

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Bournemouth 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland can't get a break, can they? Just when they were looking good, that Pienaar red card has sucked the life away. David Moyes looks murderous. It's all Bournemouth now, with Junior Stanislas side-footing against the far post. Should have scored.

    Connor Wickham

What an impact! Palace substitute Connor Wickham fulfills his brief from Alan Pardew which - to paraphrase - would have been 'go out and get me a bloomin' goal'.

He's done that with his first touch of the match, clinically sticking in Wilfried Zaha's low cross from the right. Game on!

    Burnley 2-0 Crystal Palace

Alan Pardew has seen enough. Two changes for the Palace boss as Connor Wickham and Zeki Fryers are summoned from the bench. Bold. Double trouble for Burnley?

I don't think there is malice in it. The studs do touch the ball, but they then go over the ball and straight down the player's shin.

  9. RED CARD - Steven Pienaar (Sunderland)published at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

What's this for? Steven Pienaar is shown a second yellow for what, at first, looks completely innocuous. Ah, that'll be why. Replays show his studs-up challenge on Junior Stanislas goes over the ball and into the Bournemouth man's ankle. Very hard to argue that isn't worth a second booking.

It's a different Middlesbrough that's come out in the second half. They're more ambitious and City have been a little sluggish.

If Boro are going to nab anything from this game then they need to be more expansive. Their 'shots at goal' tally read zero before half-time.

And they have offered more threat. Alvaro Negredo's ambitious punt from the halfway line forces a back-pedalling Claudio Bravo to push over his bar, just before the City keeper blocks Adam Forshaw's angled drive.

    Bournemouth 1-1 Sunderland

What were we saying about Sunderland looking good? Didier N'Dong lets rip from 20 yards, forcing Artur Boruc into action. To be honest, Boruc makes a bit of a meal of it with a completely needless starfish, but it was still a decent stop.

  13. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Burnley 2-0 Crystal Palace

Burnley flew out of the traps quicker than a greyhound in the first half. Now they're scampering after that third goal soon after the restart.

Sam Vokes goes close with THREE efforts, firing inches wide of the right-hand post before Steve Mandanda makes a super double save.

If he is going to be known as 'Chocolate Wrists' then that's more like a sturdy Yorkie that has been sat in the fridge for an hour. A very durable chocolate.

  14. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Bournemouth 1-1 Sunderland

After an awful start, Sunderland have actually pulled themselves together reasonably well. They look decent going forward, especially down the left, while their defence has found some missing steel. They look the more likely at the moment.

  15. ouch!

    Bournemouth 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland's Paddy McNair has gone down like he's taken a right from Anthony Joshua. He clutches his shoulder, sits up, then lies back down again. When he finally gets to his feet, he wheels his arm around like James Anderson warming up for a spell.

Finally back under way in the rest of of our three o'clockers, completing the quartet. Any chance of a couple more goals?

Back under way at Turf Moor too. Everyone there and at Bournemouth have bonfires to get too. Manchester City and West Ham aren't fussed about fireworks.

Manchester City have had to be patient. You feel like the pitch is on a slant, as everything is going towards Middlesbrough's goal. They have been resilient and organised. They have only conceded one goal which is good considering the possession City had had.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

A change on the south coast, Benik Afobe replacing Jordon Ibe for Bournemouth. Already back under way there. Prompt.
